I think every pundit has a bias towards the club that they played for really. People have commented about Dixon and Keown and Merson, but Lawro and Hanson are biased towards Liverpool and Lineker is biased towards us. Everyone does it, thats probably why I like Jeff Stelling because as a hartlepool fan is doesn't appeared bias towards any of the Premiership teams.

Actually, Lineker has freely admitted that he's a Leicester boy at heart first and foremost...

McQueen was on Sky Sports Centre last night and was actually really complimentary. He said that he was surprised so many people thought we were such underdogs with the class of players available to us and he certainly didn't think it was a shock we won. Also said best team won it.

Yeah, I had that on as well. Finally someone took it away from "Chelsea lost" and took it to "No, Tottenham Won". It's classic Sky Sports Big 4 reporting and I'm glad McQueen said what he did last night.

As for Smith, you can get a lot worse and he wasn't as bad as people make out. He's obviously going to have Gooner allegiances, so more fool Sky for putting him on. Can't blame the bloke for not wanting us to win - he spent his playing career not wanting that!

As for Hoddle ... a wanker???? Jesus, Mary, Joseph and maybe some of the donkey too. I'm tempted to ban for that sort of language towards Ghod.

Yeah, Leicester are his first love but when he's presenting a game on BBC you can clearly see his love for us, especially when Hansen & Shearer wind him up.

During his chat after we beat Arsenal he said 'If any team was in a false position in the league, then its Spurs' and something along the lines of, 'I'm telling you, Spurs are taking this seriously, (unlike Wenger?) other teams shouldnt take them lightly'.
And then went on to praise the supporters for raising the roof!

I only noticed because normally I'd be in total agreement with you.

Really, haha this is great!

last week when he was on he said we had no chance in the final.

He said that he would always go with the better players and the better team and that's clearly Chelsea and laughed at Charlie Nicholas when Nicholas said he thought that we would win.

So he really is a tosser!

I don't have problem with Paul Merson,
He got pissed off when we drew the first leg but he didn't deny we deserved to win same with the 5-1 slaughter he was actually steaming at the arse.
He's fair through gritted teeth but at least he don't deny the truth, I can live with that.

Le Tiss - Southampton - hates us (think it's cos his move to us fell through and Hoddle his hero slagged him off)

Sherwood - played for us but slags us off gladly
Redknapp - fat Frank supporter
Wright - Gooner
Hansen - Scouse
Dixon - Goon
Winterburn - Goon
Lawrenson - Scouse
Thompson - Scouse
Geroge Graham -

We don't get much representation (apart from lovely Claire) but it doesn't keep me awake at night :).

Lawrie Sanchez was actually the worst at the weekend, he had a right pop at us on Match of the Day 2 on Sunday night.

He totally belittled our win and said "They'll be talking about the dawn of a new era again, all on the back of a CC win" started laughing and basically said it was a joke.

It makes me wonder, when we are up in the top 4, are these pundits going to change there views on us, or is there a deep dislike for us....will we never be good enough (In there eyes/opinion) to warrant genuine praise from them.........do we care, should we care......'No one likes us, we dont care'.......

What did he say was a joke? What he said or the Cup win?

No he was aying that we think we might be on the cusp of a new era was basically joke and that it was just the Carling Cup.

He was basically being as disrespectful as he could get away with.

What is this 'Fashion' with slagging off a clubs success, sometimes i think they say it in order to get more TV bookings because they are seen as controversial!
Is the fucker who books these pundits a Spurs hater? A lot of them seem to have a chip on their shoulder!

Yeah, but I think Sanchez was in that Wimbledon team that we stuffed so badly at the Lane that our CB, Neil "Fatboy Slim" Ruddock, was smoking imaginary cigars to the crowd.

Sanchez? Crazy Gang? :rofl::rofl::rofl:

he irritated me when (after seeing his team getting a lucky escape) he compared us to a bond villain and said that Fulham were like Bond as they lucked out a home draw.

Then he got sacked:violin:

Pure and simple jealousy.

As those Chelsea fans (in that other thread) said, they wished that they could feel how we did. Celebrating, singing, seeing the players overwhelmed with emotion - seeing the passion again.

The scenes on Sunday were something to behold and from a neutral perspective would make a lot of people jealous that they couldn't be involved in it.

It's easy to be scathing and give in to it, it's a lot harder to hold your hand up and say "props to Tottenham". We conducted ourselves beautifully in this competition, played our strongest teams and went for the Glory and golly did we go out and grab ourselves a piece of Glory.

So screw them in their bitter, shitty worlds. Sunday was the day Spurs were champions and to the envy of the football supporting world they fear it could lead to something.

yeah but I ment in terms of premiership football or when presenting Match of the Day. I remeber when we played Leicester in the FA Cup a couple of years ago he was pleased on that we lost
