Should have been getting game time in and around the squad for last couple years. Can't wait till he is back next year

He needed games so was loaned out. It has helped his development more than if he had sat on our bench.

I'm not disagreeing. My point is he was good enough to be getting game time in cups etc if someone had put faith in him. If he isn't going to get games then yes I agree it's better that he get's loaned out.

So where does he primarily play? Leftwing or in the number 10 spot? Transfermarkt says CAM is his primary, but I was always under the impression he usually played on the left.

He plays as a no 10 for Brentford. I'd hope and imagine he comes back next year as Eriksens understudy

Super exciting to hear how he's been doing. I hope he can keep it up and use the undoubted confidence he will gain from this loan spell and apply it to pushing hard for a valuable role for us next season.

I think he will force himself into the side next season much like Kane, Bentaleb and Mason have

funny you say that because eriksen was impressed with him im training when he came back from his loan spell last year. what i do know for sure is that we will be an even greater threat at free kicks when he does come back.

As most have said it appears he has been playing mainly as a no.10 for Brentford, but he came through as a LW in our academy and behind striker.

Also did anyone see his touch to put Gray through on goal. Class player

Is he left footed?

I guess that expains why he doesn't have many assists this season, Brentford don't have anybody who can finish 1v1's.

Some fantastic touches there.

He has one of the best touches I've seen. I remember when he controlled a cross against Barca. The ball was killed instantly, he then did a couple of stepovers and hit the crossbar. He really is silky.

More ALM I'd say than LW. Being pedantic.

Haha agree, put LW as I was kinda being lazy. Thought he can play as a winger.

I'll put my neck on the line here, but I reckon Pritchard will blow next season for us if he plays. Not quite as big as Kane as he isn't a goalscorer so won't get them sort of regular headlines but by the end of next year I reckon there will be calls for him to play for England.

I really hope so, as long as he plays as well as he can do he'll be a valuable squad member regardless. He's better than Lennon and I've had to put up with him for 9 years.

That control on 1:33 was fantastic. He should have had at least 2 assists there if it wasn't for poor finishing/1st touch from the striker. Chadli & Kane will relish that type of quick thought/passing to put them through.
