I have just digested a game when, contrary to expectations, Dublin were allowed to play, 1 man down, and to progress to the next round of the All Ireland Championship, unhindered. What is most 'surprising' is that the GAA (Irish version of the FA thugs) officials were seen to actually aid the Dubs cause...by not granting an easy free-kick to Kildare...in injury time. Well done, Referee, for 'bucking the trent' for once.
It migh benefit, fellow yids, to take a look at what Ireland has to offer, sporting-wise...and not just in Cricket and Football (which used to be 'sure things' when we played?). Whatever the down-side of the FA....just be thankful that you do not have to deal with the guys who 'steer' the GAA...well, the guys who sit in the good seats...on All Ireland Final Day. :shrug:
