What’s your pod about BBLG?
All things Spurs (plus Dave, our random Leeds supporting friend), based on what’s topical. I can’t imagine it’ll be any different or better than what’s out there (plus I have a really annoying voice) but it’s more just us getting to talk football and hang out as we rarely get to see one another, and if anyone finds it interesting it’s a bonus ?

Post the link when ready! Lots of good fans on here will watch and spread the word if it’s decent.

Your posts have always been good so I’m sure your pod will be too

There are quite a few individuals in SC that it would be a blast to see on your podcast especially on specific topics.

Yeah I should say I was a bit harsh in saying “ he makes out “ I think it’s other people perception that he’s massively in the loop. Maybe it’s a fair assumption as he’s now the biggest Spurs journo. My point was really if you compare to say Paul Joyce with Liverpool and Ornstein at Arsenal the amount of real exclusive content is very small. The majority of content is just logical informed opinion. But good luck to him I’ve actually meet him couple times at Spurs and clearly very nice guy. With such a following now I’d imagine a more high profile job is just round the corner and wish him all the best.

Lets’s hope so, because football.london is a trainwreck.

100k + followers puts him in the big league really. A lot of the “ big “ footy journos don’t have 100k. I’m actually quite surprised he’s still at football London. I’m not really sure where they sit in terms of status. But it feels a bit where a local newspaper would be ( but I might be totally wrong on that )

Yes, I suppose even some of the crap tabloids have highly trained journos working on them who could do a lot better elsewhere on more 'credit worthy' publications.

Nice questions in the presser today
Todays PC was much better than other pressers this season
The reporters all avoided shit questions

You can't say that yet.
At this stage most of the questions (those from journalists) and Conte's answers to those questions have not been released.
They are under embargo until later, which will be at the clubs request which is very unusual.

I thought the Press Conferences were always under embargo to be fully released later ?

It's in two sections. A short bit at the beginning where they can film and release it straight away and then the second bit where cameras are switched off and it's embargoed for tomorrow's papers. Usually until 10.30

It is, and it’s not at the clubs request. There’s a broadcast section which is available to be posted/aired almost immediately, and then a second section for print media which is embargoed until 10.30pm so that the newspapers actually have something interesting to print in the morning.

He was the one who asked the question who started Conte off on Wednesday night. I hope he reigned it in today!

For anyone who's interested, Ali Gold did an AMA on Reddit a couple of hours ago. Not sure if it's still ongoing now but worth a read if you're curious:

Ali gave a shout out to SC today.
He did a QnA and said that this place helped him get to where he is today as a journo
Long QnA but worth a listen

EDIT PART 1
AFTER THE HOUR MARK HE ANSWERS A QUESTION ABOUT BECOMING A FOOTY JOURNO
JUST STARTED PART 2
