Apparently we need to be putting even bigger hills of salt to players we are linked with. AG said that Paratici's method for transfers is to get to an advanced stage of negotiations for up to 10 players per position he is trying to fill, only pulling the trigger on the one at the final stage.

We are being linked with loads, and I'm hearing lots of names. There's a reason I've only posted about one so far.

So that’s advanced negotiations for 110 players then. A&C is going to need a medical team on standby.

Last week I was really not very positive about AG's video- but this week it's the polar opposite.
He posted it before the England game and I saw it the morning after.
lots of info and opinions that felt very different in tone and messages he was sending out.
Positive overall message- let's hope we get some of our targets over the line sooner rather than later as pre-season is underway and any new players need this time to adjust etc.

I'd rather he wasn't writing for the click drive that is Football London. The Athletic should replace that Pitt-Brooke bloke with Gold at The Athletic as Tottenham correspondant.

Regardless of whether there's a huge amount to cover or not (although i think for AG there's been a fair bit in the last 6 months!) i will still always watch his videos. So much of what I digest on Spurs is online somewhere and it's often very knee-jerk and uninformed, particularly on places like twitter. Not to mention the clickbait nonsense and people/journos BSing about certain links which aren't true.

AG provides a measured, accurate view on things. A bit of balanced opinion with the news he's sharing. Nothing designed to create a massive reaction, nothing sensationalised; as he's said, he'd rather report something honestly, than be first to 'breaking' something with no substance and that for me is something I value in any sort of reporting and I enjoy the balance he brings.

He's posted a new video and it's far more upbeat than some of the more recent ones from his point of view
Back to the 7-10 days again by the sounds of it- could become very interesting

Anything specific he talked about? I just went to have a look and saw it was an hour long.

he met Japhet T for a positive int.
Says it's going to get interesting for ins and outs the end of this week and next week (THE RETURN OF THE 7-10 DAYS)
mentions the names already out there- not saying no to any, but remaining positive
Says the support media staff is changing (One guy leaving after 15 years- nothing sinister)
Shot down some folks from twatter about how they said how sh1t the friendly looked- which was spot on IMHO
Upbeat- it's worth having on as background
And ol', it's hot in his house and there's a crazy van driver outside on his street!

EDIT: SCARLETT HAS A LOT OF SUPPORT FROM EVERYONE IN THE CLUB

Cheers. If we can get some decent signings in this week. I could see if lifting the mood a little.

Agree on the friendly. I saw us smash Roma in the past only for the season to be horrendous.

I have seen friendlies before and they aren't much of an indicator as to what will happen.
maybe the odd younger player shines- but there are still too many to return, to leave and join
The season starts in three weeks and things seem to be getting there
Fingers crossed

I remember Kamaman looking like prime Thierry Henry v Stevenage in Hoddle’s first friendly. Even Freund scored that day.
