Some great potential
On our radar now. (Radar
Is a palindrome).

Before Baldini we had a Woolworth Radar and now we've upgraded to the Palindrome model? Really splashing the cash!!

Struggling to see anything particularly special about him in those Barca highlights. Doesn't seem to have a special burst of pace - definitely not the next Ronaldo!

Tbh only seen compilations (and I've seen live games of Halilovic - So might be unfair to make assumptions) but seemingly Halilovic shits all over Vadillo. I was very unimpressed with several full match highlights I've just watched of him. He's only 18 and very green, I wouldn't want us going over £10 million for him max.

Our interest in this guy must surely be a joke? I mean, I have seen nothing other than youtube "highlights" of him, but those highlights shows basically him losing possession over and over.

El Tottenham ofrece 9 millones de euros por el mediocampista español del Betis, Alvaro Vadillo.

If true, I'd be surprised if that bid is successful. The kid can only improve from here, we've offered half his release fee, and they can't need money too desperately after selling Beñat. Fingers crossed though...

I doubt they will accept 9million euros.
What happens if we increase the offer by adding a kinder egg and an all-expenses paid holiday to Skegness for their board? Do you think that will have sweetened the pot enough to get them to accept our offer.

That should do it, as long as we give them some out of date food vouchers for wimpy's.

“@_GoncaloLopes: Thfc and AVB will go for another player, this time in Spain.”

“@_GoncaloLopes: A young prospect that play in Bale position. #thfc”

Could be Vadillo?

In general I would be really underwhelmed by this move after the players we have brought in so far. I really haven't seen anything from him to make me think he is worth the money being asked. Maybe in two to three seasons if he develops well but not good enough for our team IMO.

The only similarity that I can see between him and Ronaldo is that he falls over like him.:)

Few people other than Betis fans and Spanish scouts have seen much of him because he hasn't really played much, but even before he played a game in La Primera he had all the top Spanish clubs watching him. It suggests there's something there, but equally this lad at this stage is a rough diamond and would no doubt not be considered a regular starter. The kind of player I'd imagine if we signed we would try and loan out for a season at a lower PL club who will play him and allow him regular game time and the chance to gain experience.
If I recall correctly he was the youngest player to play in La Liga so Betis obviously feel he's capable of it and no doubt had he not gotten injured would have played more, however I do think he'd be signed as a player for next season rather than this

Just imagine how good he would look in the Croatian league instead of playing against Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Whats 9M euro's? about £7M? I think that's a fair price. Wouldnt like to see us pay anymore than that.
