Ok...
So four of you have misunderstood the concept of the amnesty thread. (to put your views which others may have issue with without fear of reprisal)
Judging by the ratings he got on it it was posted in the correct place

I couldn't give a shit whether we qualify for the Champions League or not.

I'd rather be relegated playin passing attacking football than win the league playing long ball defensive football. We're Spurs FFS!

Nah, I've made my mind up on this. Watched this guy closely for so long and just can't take it anymore.

If he makes me eat shit I'd love it though as it'd mean he's performing for the team.
You said you wanted him to be back in the team because of the help he could bring offensively (which he has at times) but he was never going to be at his best instantly so surely you must have realised that this would require patience. 5 PL games later and you want us to sell him.

i wouldn't say i don't give a shit but i don't think it's particularly important for us right now, this team isn't geared towards it and neither are the club currently. it's a young team building for the future, i don't think much will be spent in the next few years whilst we're in the process of moving to the new stadium so if we were to somehow get cl with this team of pups it would kind of be like "well, ok, what do we do now?". the only thing i'd say it really helps us with is lloris, vertonghen and eriksen but i'm not sure what clubs are really going to be in for them and even then it's not like we haven't replaced important players before.

Hardly at all. And if he doesn't bring this he is pretty useless as he can't defend. In fact, he's very costly.

Regardless of whether he's back from injury or not, a glimpse of him not being batshit anymore would have at least given me some confidence in him making it in a poch team. I really just can't see it.

I'm sure poch will give him a proper crack at it, but I can't see him working out long term. Maybe poch can work some defensive magic on him - hopefully - and solidify his game somewhat. Doubt it though. I really think this guy just has not got the mentality to be a top defender.

Anyway, I've laid it all out for all to see so if he proves me wrong I'll lick his toes.

If we had Modric and Pogba in midfield today would it have stopped Chadli and Eriksen from putting in dreadful performances? Would it have stopped the misplacing passes, losing possession consistently, drifting into the abyss for large periods and having the strength of a mosquito when going in for a tackle? Just wondering.

No, but the increased amount of space would certainly help at least with the efficiency of the attack, and consequently the system. On the defensive side though? No. Chadli can be particularly frustrating, as sometimes he looks as if he's got no idea he's 6'2" and built like a royal bodyguard.

I want to punch every Spurs fan who wrote of any of Kane, Mason or Bentaleb and want to destroy any who still don't rate them as highly as I do.

Capoue is the worst CM we've had at the club in a long time.

Dembele would be a decent striker, winger, number 10, box to box or defensive midfielder. He will never be great at any of them.

I wrote off Kane. I'd gladly accept a punch or two.

I don't rate Eriksen that highly.

We'll sell Lamela and he'll flourish elsewhere.

I don't want Poch to get sacked for at least another 2-3 seasons.

Don't care if Capoue, Kaboul, Adebayor or Paulinho never make another appearance for the club.

I rate Fazio.

I think DL is doing a great job at Spurs.

Our stadium is toss.

Our fans suck balls sometimes.

We over-achieve season after season.

Given time, I actually think Sherwood would have done a decent job.

Bob Soldier needs to be moved on. But I'll be sad to see him leave. I like his face.

Dembele is a defensive midfielder, not a terribly good one but that's his position. Verts is a left back, that's his best position, even if he doesn't like it.

I ignorantly let the association with Sherwood cloud my judgement and negatively effect my opinion of Bentaleb.

(He's by no means the finished article in central midfield, but has a lot more potential than I gave him credit for last year.)

I still think we should be playing Soldado with Kane.

Poch is not a particularly good tactician. His main contributions have been in improving player fitness and in allowing our youth development policy to come to fruition.

Here's a couple of mine then...

- I still think it was a mistake to let Thudd and his passing distribution skills go.
- We've looked clueless offensively most of the time for the last 3 seasons.
-. Chiriches and Capoue seem like totally pointless footballers to me.
- I think Paulinho contributed a lot more offensively than he got credit for last season.
- I think Verthongen is overrated and seriously lack defensive skills

Oh yeah, and for some reason I liked Ruel Fox...
