Sure, and that’s fine Rob, and in that particular case the info IS really close to the source but I should imagine that’s really rare.
You know better than any of us as you vet the sources people give, but I should imagine that if you look down them you will know that some are closer to the truth than others, even if the gaps between the sources aren’t that wide.
Sometimes it’s random, the manor Solomon ITK from the guy who’s dad was at the same gym as Solomon’s dad was bang on, but equally, we know that person will likely never get ITK ever again due to context in which it came through.
My issue isn’t the people passing on the ITK, the issue is people here who blindly 100% believe in it, and wont have it that ITK could be misinformed, things could change etc then they rant at rave and throw abuse at people for messing up a deal (in this instance anyway) based on info that we can’t actually verify beyond a point.
I think it’s a different matter when ITK basically post saying nothing but making people think they have, but that isn’t for me to sort out.
I just feel if people were more open to applying salt regardless we get less “But the ITK said..!” Type posts when things don’t pan out.

I can’t believe Brighton are willing to cover that for a season without any option etc. Wild. Must say I’m quite looking forward to seeing how he does in the PL. System should suit him well.
Not sure how Barca managed to pull this one off without giving away an option.

When Fati was first mentioned by ITK some weeks back, the reaction in here was largely negative. Apparently it reeked of opportunism.
When the link reappeared and got more concrete, the mood changed a bit, and the consensus in here seemed to be that it would be an exciting signing as long as there was an option to buy.
And now that the deal has fallen through for that exact reason, that seems to be the worst thing that could possibly happen to us. I don't get it.

They've just lost Enciso for an indeterminate (but long) period of time so I guess they're pretty desperate to get someone in.
Getting someone in for a centre/right role makes more sense to me, that left side is already pretty stacked.

Me too, Ghost. I wonder if he will feature at the #10/second striker role at all for them. Last match they had Ferguson up top with Welbeck right off of him, think he'd be perfect there.
Wasn’t there some info that Enciso was out for a while, might have been brought in to cover for him?
