I'm pretty sure it's standard procedure when trying to woo a player to show them the training ground and stadium and other assets. Just like any company would when headhunting an employee from another business.

I'm also sure United know about it. It probably doesn't change anything on their end. They can still refuse to sell to us. Or, they are actually open to selling to us eventually even if it's their last choice. At the end of the day money talks. They have Rashford and Sanchez in his position. Martial is surplus to requirements. The player clearly wants to leave. We clearly are seemingly ready to front up the cash. Even United can't afford to turn their nose up at say £60 million for a surplus player. They also want Alderweireld. There's too many things in our favour for this not to happen in my opinion.

I suppose the only danger is we get gazumped by Chelsea because I can't see him leaving the PL.

It's vital, especially if there is likely to be competition. Win the player over, like we have with Grealish, and it prevents an auction.

Have a feeling hazard will leave and they'll buy Martial to replace him.

Yeah but you're original post was like you were "telling him off", or advising a poster who has been posting for over 10 years that maybe this site isn't for him. If you think he broke site rules there is a report function.
You know there’s nothing wrong with self regulation - it beats the A&C ban stick in the ITK discussion thread.

If you're gonna doubt the Itks here then this site isn't for you.

That’s not really the point of ITK. The idea is to take it all with a pinch of salt.

You’ve been here for two months, maybe wait a bit before telling people whether the site is for them or not.

I cannot see this happening. I also can't believe he's been to the stadium. Surely he Would have been spotted by the thousands of staff they have working there. Would have been all over social media.

What did he do, pull up outside in a tinted car have a quick look and drive off?

Maybe he was in a disguise - something like a pair of thick glasses with a big nose attached? Or one of those tartan hats with ginger hair out the back?

Different thing when all 3 Itk have shared the same information. If you still think that info is BS then ok.

Someone said they are concerned about Chelsea coming in for him.
I'm not convinced he'd go to Chelsea for the money, to tell the truth I'm not sure Chelsea would pay him massively more than us anyway, but if he was chasing the money he'd do just as well to stay at Man Utd wouldn't he?
I know it's not as simple as that but he is leaving for other reasons so you have to ask does Chelsea outdo us on those other things, more playing time, personal improvement, international team aspirations and even, dare I say, future success, that's not a given anymore.
It could I guess come down to how desperate he is to leave United and how determined United are not to sell to us but even then why would they be any more willing to sell to Chelsea?

I said If Hazard leaves then Chelsea could deffo pay his fee and he would get more game time there than he would at spurs.

There is a walkway from the offices to the stadium I am pretty sure Levey has enough power at the club to make sure certain sections of the stadium build take a break at certain times!

Maybe so. I'm just having visions of him wearing a burka

Pretty sure we can’t do that without a player’s club giving permission.

It means either Man U gave permission - so they are or were willing to sell and it’s all about the price.

Or we’ve totally tapped up Martial and are in danger of getting a fine and being shown to be unscrupulous in the way we operate.

Officially yes but i’d be stunned if we like all the other big clubs don’t tap players up.

No one is telling me that Walker wasn’t tapped City.

I'm going to go through the last few pages and ban anyone and I mean ANYONE who's started with the sourness that we've had far too much of over recent times. I've warned more than once that it won't be tolerated so if you've partaken, then you're out, no exceptions.

This shit is exactly why ITK's gets cheesed off with posting, because people think they are 'clever' when they aren't.

This type of transfer, can often only happen towards the end of the season. You can see United will wait to see if options abroad materialise (Juve presumable now off the cards), and both clubs need to see how much Martial wants out of United and sees us as his ideal destination.

It sounds like we're pulling out all the stops to evoke a reaction from him, that will force United's hand.

I hope that as time passes swapping two players who both don't want to at either club ends up happening. But while Toby is a bargaining chip, replacing him only weakens our position when we sell him, so I suppose a CB signing will also come in late.

Hazard potential could go to Madrid now Ronaldo has left. Mourinho is an admirer of William and Martial has indicated he wants to leave so this puts a nice spanner in the works on what happens next . Chelsea will be big players in the market especially with a new manager... it’s not looking good imo Martial coming to us and we might have a better chance with Malcolm

I've mentioned before but I feel like Martial is one that we are willing to go down to the wire with, regardless of what signings we have already made.
