Well we have a relationship with them via Townsend, Livermore and Giovani so you never know.
BBC Rumours today says we'll offer 6M plus Livermore and Townsend for Conor Wickham in January. Does anyone know how he's doing this year? Seems to have fallen off the radar a bit after a storming season last year.
Looking at the stats, he's not scored and has only made 4 appearances after a knee injury in the summer. Hard to know how to interpret this - does this reduce his value or, with how terribly Ipswich are doing without him, improve it?
Apparently the Liverpool board are ready to sanction a £10M move for Wickham
Liverpool's new owners are ready to back manager Roy Hodgson in the race for £10m-rated Ipswich teenage star Connor Wickham.

BUT
1306: Ipswich striker Connor Wickham is not interested in moving to Liverpool and favours a move to either Tottenham or Arsenal. Spurs lead their north London rivals in the race for the 17-year-old and are expected to offer £5.5m in addition to winger Andros Townsend and midfielder Jake Livermore to land Wickham.

Have to say i'd be very happy with that as though both Townsend and Livermore are good young players i just don't think they are going to be good enough to make it at Spurs.
dont forget ' dave'
they have turned down 35 million euro bid from puta madrid for him
I'd like some Torres and Gerrard ITK to come up about now.
And the annual Beckham link too!
Beckham to Spurs front page of tomorrow's Daily Star, yeah right

It's so predictable.
However, on a serious note. I would love nothing more than to see David Beckham in a Spurs shirt. It would be un-fucking-believable seeing that.
I don't give a fuck if he is slow, or shit or anything else, I'd even get his name on the back of a shirt.
Hopefully we get a few bids in for our players. We could get rid of 6-7 and bring in a few quality upgrades.
With VDV playing in the hole could see us selling Keane, Pav and Dos Santos and only bring in one quality striker.
So that's pienaar Parker and diarra in January then!
So 3 midfielders, 2 of whom would usually struggle to get on our bench, and no forwards
Get ready for some pienaar itk coming soon because the mail is running a story that we're definitely getting him they're just not sure if its Jan or end of season but they're journos for a quality paper so no need to worry about small details like that
Pienaar is so average, older than Niko, and would probably have higher wage demands than Niko.
I don't get why we'd be willing to let Kranjcar go for as low as the £3M reported, surely he's worth £8M-10M
We paid £15M for Bentley for christsakes!
You really think HR would play Palacios over Diarra/Parker if they're either of them are available in January?
I didn't mean Diarra - Diarra is better than all our CMs other than Modric.
Palacios is better than Parker and will hopefully rediscover his form now he'll have a bit of a run with Hudd and Jenas out.
Pienaar isn't anywhere near as good as Krancjar and probably not Bentley either.
