Last night they showed the Spurs game on Spanish TV and to my surprise they had Steve Archibald as co-commentator in Spanish ( I forgot he played for Barcelona).

He spoke largely about Spurs and his memories at the club and was quite disappointed that Ginola hadn't been given a role as a coach, Archibald actually said on TV that Ginola offered himself to Harry as a coach and was turned down. I suppose Harry only wants British coaches at the club like Sherwood, Ferdinand, Jordan, Parks and Bond. Can't help to fell that it is a lost opportunity but Harry knows best.

On a hilarious note at one point in the night he pronounced Tottingham a la Ardiles which had most of us brits here in stitches, maybe he was confused with commentating in Spanish!

I suspect Ginola is another one of those overly gifted players to whom football skills came somewhat naturally and all to easy, as such I suspect he would have trouble teaching other, less gifted players.

I know from first hand experience that it canbe frustrating when you show someone how to do something that you can do without thinking and they continue to struggle with the task. It's almost as if you don't know how to explain it in simpiler terms because it seems as though they should just be able to do it the same as you can.
