Are we getting slippery under the sheets with Swindon?

My only fear is that we are putting the youth players progression aside to get them promoted and what makes me uneasy is if it is being done to help make a profit. As if we help them get promoted twice they can sell for a nice profit.

Also this could potentially change British football forever. As we unlike other countries have a strong competitive 4 tier system and we are effectively creating a b team which a lot people oppose because of the big clubs in the lower divisions. Now if this is a success the other teams will try to do something similar, which will piss off other teams just look at the reaction to Watford. Now we don't own Swindon but the connection will cause outrage especially if Swindon get promoted.

There isn't anything wrong with selling players with a buy back clause but I can see some issues as it seems it may be a forced buy back clause. As a player may not want to come back if we want to resell him later and I think the fa may get involved if something like this happens and end badly for us.

The problem is that each country has a different set of rules. Uefa needs to meet with all the fa's and rewrite the rules to create a balance.

3rd party, loans, buy back clauses, sell on clauses all need to be looked at. I would also look at the champions league and the money it generates.
