According to some reports in the Croatian media, Romeo Jozak (director of Dinamo's youth academy) is a candidate to take over as head of the Arsenal academy (as Liam Brady is set to retire). He was previously/recently linked with, and offered, a job with the Irish FA. He turned that down, but they are speculating that this would be an offer too good to refuse.

I don't know how legit this latest news is, but I do know the offer from the Irish FA was real (some "ITK" regarding that). Jozak is not only the head of Dinamo's youth academy, but he is also the head of Croatia's youth National Teams. He definitely has the inside track on the talented youngsters coming out of Croatia.

Dinamo (Zdravko Mamic) will not want to let him go, but I don't doubt there is interest from abroad (not just from Arsenal).

Jozak confirmed Arsenal's interest:

- Of course, when you get a call from Arsenal it "sways" you a little and you can't remain indifferent, but I have excellent working conditions at Dinamo, I enjoy my job and we'll see what develops.
