I tend to think this will stick in Roy's craw going forward......he wants the team fully focussed and this, without doubt, is on Vardys mind. As well as the rest of the squad winding him up about it. As well as getting millions of texts from Mrs Vardy complaining that she needs a new pair of shoes and his leicester salary doesn't quite cut it.

You can imagine with every miss during training, every misplaced pass, he's getting stick. Can you imagine him missing a sitter against Wales....the papers will have a field day. His head not being in the right place and his chin being in a totally different place.

He already looks like that

rumors are he is going to turn down the goon squad

Brave of him or perhaps he doubts his own quality and prefers the safety of Leicester.

He'll never get another shot at playing for a huge club and Leicester could very well turn into an average side that competes for mid table Stoke like averageness

I'm not surprised.

Think about it.

You're offered a job at a new company. It's something you can do, but it pays much better than your current job. The office is nicer than your current one, if a bit quieter. And it's based in London, not in the sticks. All in all, it's a really great deal.

And then just before you accept, you attend an awards ceremony, meet up with the best there are in the country and note that one of the guys there is from the company you're planning to join.

And do you know what? This guy - let's call him Jack - is a prize ****, a ****** of the first order and a gobby little ***** to boot. And you start thinking 'Could I put up with this every day? Could I share an office with this guy? Do I want to give up the bantz with Wes and Riyad to spend the rest of my career with this ****? Is the money good enough for me to cope with him?'

If Vardy does turn them down, we'll know the answer to the above...

If he stays though he will be even more of a hero to the fans which he won't have many other chances to get. You are a long time retired and being a club legend must be nice.

Surely Leicester's bid for Deeney suggests that they believe Vardy has made up his mind to move on...
Not Really as they do play two up front at times and look at their other options: Ulloa, Shinzaki and probably some other bell end.

Troy Deeney is better than those guys and imo very underrated. I would have taken him to the Euro's. Sounds crazy but his physical presence gives us something other teams cant plan for and he would do damage in the CL making space for Vardy

As for his price tag, it is overinflated

I said that i wouldn't be surprised if he turned them down - people were, once again, making the mistake of applying the normal rule of thumb to Leicester and their players like we've all done all season. The racist steptoe isn't the international superstar that everyone is assuming he's become, so the usual rules of glamour and superstardom don't apply.

I am still curious to see the u-turn from some of those foxes fans wishing him evil.

You'd think that Vardy would be more likely to join the scum because of Jack the **** Wilshere, those two look like soulmates.

Gotta laugh at the link. Arsenal fans have been bleating for ages about Benzema, Cavani, Higuain, Morata etc and they end up with a one season wonder who'd scored most of his career goals against Canvey Island...

Personally it wouldn't surprise me if he turned them down. Leicester will match their offer I'm sure and it allows him to not have the pressure of playing with arsenal when let's be honest, he's never going to replicate last season. That way he is financially sorted but without the grief he'd get at that lot. It's expected that Leicester will fall away and with the probably sales of Kante and Mahrez, he won't be blamed if they do

Apparently Leicester matched Arsenal's offer already. I hope he stays, would be nice to see someone show some loyalty to the club who gave him the chance and kept the faith.

Wenger saying that Vardy's is NOT leaving Leicester fc. Wiltshire obviously helped make his mind up.
