Seen us get spanked far too much in our "big" games recently.hope for a win but I just hope it's close like the NLD's of the past.

I swear, if any of those players don't put 100% effort in today, they should be dropped. That includes the likes of Lamela and Eriksen.

Just got an email from THFC entitled, 'Get Autumn Ready With Spurs'.......they seem to of forgotten to include the Kevlar body armour from this seasons collection. After tonight's game we will likely need that.....

What does the range include, spurs own branded anti depressants, a spurs rope and chair combo, a kids piggy bank with Enic on the side? A we nearly got bought by Cain hoy tshirt?

Scum haven't exactly been setting the world alight with their football, no need to be too negative. It's a game we can win if we work hard and show a positive approach and get the ball forward quickly

I just hope Poch has finally come to the conclusion that Vlad is not a PL CB and brings Verts back. I'd like Fazio to play too instead of Eunice but that's a tighter decision given Fazio is only just trying to find his feet

Same as many have posted really, cannot see us winning at all but if any players are not giving 100% today, no matter who they are, I'd be happy to see them in another sides shirt as soon as possible..

Michael Oliver is ref. Always likely to cave in to the slightest amount of pressure and be a weak homer.

I mean the Emirates.

From Waterloo, take Northern Line to Kings Cross, then Piccadilly Line to Holloway Rd.

From Liverpool St, take Hammersmith & City/Circle Line to Kings Cross, then Piccadilly Line to Holloway Rd. Or take Central Line to Holborn, then Piccadilly Line to Holloway Rd.

Haha never seen the board so short of confidence before an Arse match . I'm the same .

What a couple of people have mentioned already is that teams see us as a threat and then frustrate us at home by parking the bus.
They hope for a breakaway goal and vs us often succeed

This is a tune apparently missing from our repertoire . Seems a tad shortsighted not to have that shut up shop ability vs the bigger teams who then seriously damage our confidence....by thrashing us .

We're all seeing in our imaginations the acres of space for the Arse forwards to do their stuff . They must love playing us .

The concern over having a 'philosophy' is that it can become an end in itself rather than the plain target of winning matches . The other snag could be that other teams, who all analyse their oppo exhaustively , will know what we're going to do....they know our philosophy too .

Horses for courses is the saying ..and for teams that tend to thrash us , maybe adapting
to the varying conditions a bit more , could be considered .

Verts carrying an injury, which may be why he's not playing in the most competitive matches. You need your best players to be fit for the latter part of the season. Look at what happened to the Goons after Twonil snapped his ACL.

i am Spurs through and through so will support the team whatever...i just know this will be a tough one. The Gooners are not playing out of their skins either. We need to be brave and play with courage. I am hoping for a win but will take a draw. COYS!!!

The batterings we have received from woolwich have coincided with my mother in law being down. This has led me to ban her from coming down when we are playing them (seriously once after promising to be out whilst I watched the game they came back & what should happen? Ade gets sent off and we get battered!!) My wife has taken her to Paris this weekend, surely that's far enough away that we are due a good result??

I don't care about the result, just want to see some passion in the performance and give it a good go.

I think Defoe's pace might actually give their CBs a problem. I'm looking for him to score first on Betfair but I can't find it.

Also, Beast has gotta play in a CM 2 to protect our front men. And as he proved last season, he's capable of a moment of magic. Plus, he'll be up for the scum.

Lastly Daws- despite his advancing age- is a warrior, and tbh easily the best CB we have (miles better than Kaboul and Carcrash). Him and Verts to start for me.

As long as those three play we've got a chance- and at least we'll have some fight.
great post. is defoe any worse than what we have up front now? is kaboul better than dawson on current form?. capoue better than sandro? no..no..no.. we flogged three players that loved the club and would have run through brick walls for us. we now have a team with lots of players who think they ve already made it so dont put in 100%. (25% for ade and lennon)

Depending on our lineup it could be a close game or a blowout for them. Hope that at least ref won't give them stupid penalties.
