arsenal struggling with their transfer strategy ATM ?
They will just need to throw some big wages at it and the players will come, but Lego head has prided himself on getting the wage bill down.
It’s a vicious circle though as the incumbent players will want parity.
They put a brave face on it but missing out on CL was an unmitigated disaster for them.
They must really hate us and I love it!

Oh boy. It was the fixture list wot did it. This account so cringingly whiny I might follow it. (Edit, have now done so. I think this might be my new hobby)

I am in a dental chair about to get a root canal. Read this and laughed enough that I was worried they thought I was sneaking some nitrous.

Crazy

I know I've mentioned this before but, for a truly bonkers read on all things Arsenal, Untold Arsenal even eclipses Le Grove. There's no Untold Arsenal twitter but the daily or twice daily blogs are Qanon level conspiracy nuttery.

"This thread will talk about a statistical anomaly that damaged Arsenal last season."

To cancel our game in jan - caused them to play us a few days before New Utd- a must win game (biggest game of their season) with injuries, suspensions and a loss of confidence because we humiliated them. They brought it upon themselves the lackluster fools.

Blimey, Saka was only about seven when City first started tapping up/poaching Arse's best players. Seems like only yesterday.

If Saka lets his contract run down he can pretty much have his pick of most clubs in Europe and a whacking great signing on fee. It’s hard to think of a logical reason why he would stay. People will point to Kane, but we had much more optimistic signs we were getting top 4 and challenging for titles and stadium was coming so there was some logic to Kane signing. With Saka it’s a vague hope this Arteta project might come good. I think the culture of younger talented players at clubs outside top 4 letting contracts run down is becoming more ingrained. It’s very bad news for some clubs not only losing best talent but also for nothing.

Yeah, and I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for them pesky kids.
