I was in Denver last week with work. Went to a steakhouse/grill, the waiter was a chatty hipster, seemed ok. Asked if I liked football and who I supported.

Fucking hell... in all the grills in all the world, it had to be a fucking Gooner serving me!!!

Got the whole 'no trophies' banter and that 'What do you think of Tottenham? chant.

A colleague paid - just hope he didn't tip the twat!

You should’ve told the manager that he flashed you.

Bit weird that he's got a "significant" hamstring injury yet he carried on playing until the end.

It's like some people can't remember more than a few weeks.

We had a fucking atrocious season and were even playing in conference league every week. Our squad was awful and had our star player wanting to leave. We sacked our manager after a few months ffs.

They had no Europe, spent a ton of money and still finished behind us. Their fans were pushing arteta to be sacked at the end of last season.

Yet again the hype train is on them. Suddenly they are world beaters because they got two bench players from city and some wanker from the French league.

They are playing once a week against some of the worst teams the premiership has to offer.

Just wait, two games a week, some good teams and they will crumble.

Imo they won't finish above city, Liverpool, us, Chelsea and Newcastle. That puts them at 6th place (at best), if United get their shit together, perhaps lower.

I've been reading this arteta stuff every fucking season (on here) and every season he and his team absolutely go to pieces. It's not a case of if, it's a case of when.

If they're still in the top four in two months I'd be surprised.

Careful mate you’ll upset the Woolwich fan club on here.

Excellent news. And if I ever even try to say something vaguely complimentary about them may the words turn to ash in my mouth.

they look brilliant. The football they are playing is so impressive and good to watch. Martinelli and Jesus are out performing Kane and son by miles at the moment

Yes but those players plus there other young plays have slotted in perfectly and we’re exactly what they needed. They play very good fast flowing football and look miles better than us.

They've played Leicester, Bournemouth and Villa, three of the bottom five, as well as Palace and promoted Fulham. Let's see how they are this weekend vs United or when the Europa games start piling up.

Watch when we go to their place. They will tear us to pieces. The way they play will blow us away.
