We've certainly been keeping our powder dry so far this pre-season so far. Interesting to see if the intensity rises at all today or if we're waiting for a final flourish at WHL.

Expecting Hudd/Jake centre back today and vs Palace, Kaboul been out for a year and hasn't had a minute pre season yet so wont be anywhere near ready.

As he's played in the Confed Cup this summer, I don't think there's any urgency to involve him. Obviously we all want to see the new players ASAP.

BTW another Monaco signing announced - defender Borja Lopez from Sporting Gijon for e2.2m.

I hope we play a strongish side but with injuries and other things permitting, any potential line ups dont look that exciting

With that in mind here's what the most exciting line-up for me would be, in terms of interest:

With Paulie on the bench and getting a run out

Walker at centre back against Falcao, this'll be good. Though to be fair, any of our centre backs against Falcao is a worry
