The last PL goal Villa scored against us came in a 1 all draw at Villa Park in May 2012.
The goal was scored by Ciaran Clark with Adebayor scoring from the spot in a game that saw Danny Rose sent off.

Are we playing them twice? :D

I would usually expect a win all day, but after Sunderland, west brom, and Newcastle, I have no expectations.....I try to kid myself, I expect a win, anything less would be dreadful

I do think we'll win this. Villa are beyond terrible at the moment and we'll get a lot more space as we're away from home.

Watched them on MNF and, they were horrendous. They miss the energetic Delph in midfield.
I would actually be less confident if this was at WHL.

Away games bring a sigh of relief. We'll have too much for them whoever we field but if Pochettino would pick Kane and Soldado I think we could get up and running properly.
You said you would stop giving predictions

I wish he would but we kind of get the feeling it gonna be Ade init?! I wouldn't mind seeing Soldado and Ade on. Last season Tim played them together and they were both good specially against MoPo's So'ton.

I've been thinking the last few weeks that a 5-3-2 formation could work at Tottenham. I know that we have seen Van Gaal change away from it already this season, but I think we could pull it off..

At the moment we are very lethargic and unbelievably predictable in attack, we crowd the middle of the pitch and by playing inverted wingers we also are not a threat out wide and can't get in behind the defense. This was painfully obvious against Newcastle. Arguably our biggest attack threat this season has come from Rose beating his man with pace on the left. Walker when fit is also an attacking asset on the right. Both of these players are dangerous attacking options but have struggled defensively.

Interestingly against Brighton we looked good with Soldado and Kane playing together. Furthermore Lamela could play in a more forward role, he seems to have a good understanding with Soldado. I don't see any reason why we cant play two strikers at the club, especially when you consider our struggle for goals.

-------Lloris-------
---------Kaboul Fazio Verts-------
--Walker -----------------------Rose
----------- Capoue/Stam---Mason----
-------------Eriksen/Lamela--------
-----------Soldado/Ade--- Lamela/Kane---

Throw Dier into the mix at CB

I'm sure people will critique it, which I certainly welcome, but it was just a thought I had, it would be interesting to see how it would look. I must admit I'm near certain that it wont happen

You just know Villa having lost the last 5 and not scoring in 4 will kick start their season against us. Having said that we play better away and if we play a front 4 of Soldado, Kane Lamela and Eriksen we should win this, but I expect Poch to stick with Adebayor.

We should beat Villa. But we should have done a lot of things this year and haven't.

But please, for the love of God Poch, start Soldado. Let him get the league goal he needs. Persisting with an off colour Ade is doing nothing for us.

Behind the results of Villa, there is the fact that they met Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and City in a row. Fundamentally, I firmly believe Pochettino must come to terms with mixing up his starting line up a bit to be even close to a victory. I noticed @Redfap believes 5-3-2 is the way to go, that will never happen. However, as I've been saying in various forms for far too long, we do have the squad to pull off a nice, sexy 4-3-3. 3 CM's combined with 3 attackers obviously led by Kane and flanked by Soldado & Lamela would be of immense interest. I for one would be feeling excited again.
Alas, 4-5-SHIT, here we come.

We will win this by a couple of goals. I fully expect this site to be a beautful place come Sunday evening, full of praise and love for all.

I remember when I used to look at the oppositions team news and pray for injuries to key players, now I just never seem to care, there's too much wrong with us to be bothered about the opposition :ROFLMAO:
