Merson is going for a 1-0 giving Villa their first goal in 5 games and a first goal in the last 5 games v us!

Please don't let him be right.

Soldado scored his first Spurs league goal from open play against Villa right? First Spurs league hattrick for him tommorrow

(Think I'll give myself an optimsitic rating (y))

Seriously though - we'll win this, we're no where near as shit as we' ve been playing and I think we'll see a reaction and a bit of a performance

Just please start Kane. I don't care what the players look like in training, I don't care what the tactical analysis of the opposition is, I don't care what the nationality of our players are, and I especially do not care what the pitch dimensions are.

If you have an in form striker just fucking play him.

I think he might although a goal scoring draw is on the cards dont forget clean sheet is a No No for us.

I remember when I used to look at the oppositions team news and pray for injuries to key players, now I just never seem to care, there's too much wrong with us to be bothered about the opposition :ROFLMAO:

That is a bloody good point :(

If we win tomorrow, we are back in the top half. This is a massive opportunity for us and a big step forward for the club.

Get beat and the club, and probably the manager, are bang in trouble. Whatever way people want to dress it up, being three points above 18th would have alarm bells ringing and talk of long term projects etc will go out the window.
Next lol.

3 points will be massive tomorrow.

To think we haven't hit any heights this season but to be still above the likes of Everton, Liverpool and only 3 behind Arsenal surely winning tomorrow would give us the impetus to kick on.

Agreed. If we put our act together, there's still a good chance for top 4 as aside from Chelscum and the Arse, all the supposed top clubs are dropping points like us.

The table doesn't lie - villa are terrible and we are just a point ahead with easier fixtures behind us.
Villa, hull, stoke, palace and leicester are our 6 pointer games this season, rather than the games against the likes of arsenal.
Should be a close game. MP has loads of experience at this end of the table so I'm hoping for a point.

I was optimistic of this after the Saints game, the pressuring in the first half was the best I'd seen and the first 10 minutes were blistering, hardly gave Saints any time to breath. The movement and pace of play at times was very good too. Then it's like in the Newcastle game we just went back to normal. I thought that once we'd seen the high pressure game applied then we'd see it with at least similar intensity from then on but it hasn't been the case. Sometimes we're aggresive in doing so, other times barely at all.

I honestly just don't know what to expect from us now. Even if we win convincingly tomorrow, I'll be no further encouraged of a good win against Stoke the following week.

If we were to win tomorrow & Utd lose we're back in the game. No thanks to our own work, thanks to most others also dropping unexpected points

I have to agree with this. Probably hopelessly optimistic but I do feel we are going to click in soon.
