You know what i mean. Your just picking holes but fine, SOME European teams. There we go.

how is that picking holes? what you have said was fundamenally wrong. all i've done is point that out. you're being a bit over sensitive. is that because you've said something totally unsubstantiated by fact?

i think what you'll find is that there are one or two clubs in each of the major footballing nations on the continent that have anything like the atmosphere you're talking about at their home games bar the big games/derby matches.

in spain i think you're talking about athletic bilbao and... anyone else?
in italy i simply don't know, perhaps napoli.
in france it's marseilles and no one else.
in germany i think perhaps st pauli. some of the other clubs have orchestrated chanting which might sound good on the telly but is actually pony in the ground. bayern are particularly bad for this, or were at the olympiastadt.

what it seems you are talking about is a handful of clubs. perhaps i'm wrong but in my experience if you go to, for example, paris st germain v nice or valencia v sevilla or fiorentina v roma the fans and the atmosphere are going to be similar to that which you would expect to find at spurs v qpr.

whilst it mgiht be nice to think we're a special case, we're actually not. we're not particularly vocal, nor particularly subdued. give the fans a good performane and we'll raise the roof. play like crap and you'll get a crap atmosphere. big games/derby matches excluded.

I didn't actually say all European teams. Okay not all these clubs constantly have this atmosphere but people, up till now, have agreed with what Im saying about a more consistent vocal support and some visual would be great at the lane. I said european teams because I can't think of any club in England or Wales that has demonstrated this kind of support recently. I witnessed it at ac, I've seen latzios, I've watched fenabace and galatasary do it. Im not getting pissy about it just thought everyone got the jist of what I was explaining, that's all.

i agree that the atmosphere at WHL could be improved, i just don't think there are really that many actual examples of clbs where fans 'always' produce a great atmosphere.

when did you hear it at ac milan by the way? and lazio? are you talking about away fans at WHL?

Well flags are OK at UK grounds as Liverpool fans were waving them at their ground during the game with Manure at the weekend.
