Of course, forgot about that the cup game. Well, the next league game anyway or I think this situation explodes.

It's almost November now. I honestly never thought we'd buy a a straight-out-the-box world class keeper. Now that we have pulled off the impossible, we don't play him. It's so Tottenham. :D

We don't play him AS MUCH AS Brad because we want to make sure he isn't rushed into the team. Plenty of keepers careers stall or get fucked up because of this. I think our approach is sensible, he's vying for the No.1 spot this season and will be No.1 for us next season. Also there are no tournaments coming up next summer so there's less pressure for him and us to have regular playing time.

At least make him the cup keeper then. That doesn't make much sense. God bless old Carlo and all.

Anyone else suspicious that the club's covering for the fact that Adebayor's thrown his toys out of the pram?

You could well be right but surely Adebayor is experienced enough now to know the score - especially given the fact that he missed huge chunks of pre-season coupled with injury problems.

For what it's worth, i've been impressed with AVB's handling of the situation in the face of constant spin and bullshit from the media, they have had little to feed off.

A little bit.

I would hope Adebayor has grown up a bit after what happened when he was frozen out at Man City though.

This is so not funny anymore. Daniel (with his warmth and man management skills!!!) needs to have a word with both parties

Steffen Freund admits Adebayor is unhappy with role at Tottenham this season

http://www.givemefootball.com/premier-league/tottenham-hotspur-summer-signing-unhappy-with-bit-?

Freund concedes that Adebayor is not happy spending so much time on the bench, but believes he will have the chance to show he is one of the ‘best strikers in the Premier League’ soon.

"Adebayor is sick, we will have a look [to see if he is fit for Norwich],” he said.

“If you're not playing and you're injured then of course you are not happy. He's really sick but hopefully he will be back in time. He is one of the best strikers in the Premier League."

"We are happy to have him back here. We need every Tottenham Hotspur player. If Andre wants to rotate or change the position up front, it's good to have every player fit."

Spurs face a tough fixture list in November, and will go up against two of Adebayor’s former clubs – Manchester City and Arsenal – in the space of six days next month.

Not really "admitting" anything is he? I'm injured and unable to play at the moment so I'm unhappy too - doesn't mean I'm looking to bin my Sunday league side.

Yup...I read the article. Minutes before I had read another article using exactly the same quotes in a very different way.
