Now I know many are not fans of Sport Witness but I though I'd bring you this little snippet.

Villas Boas was also asked about his future and that of Gareth Bale and is quoted by the same website (Calcio News 24) as saying "Rumours? I am very happy at Tottenham, I want to stay here a long time, the same goes for Bale, I'm sure he will stay with us next year."

Goal.com last week came out with -

'Bale has told friends he is ready to reject a big summer move if Spurs clinch a place in the Champions League'.

That's what we want to hear ....Our boss and our star player 'pledging' their future to Spurs....Let's hope it's true and Levy has the balls to reject every bid for either of them for a considerable amount of time!

If true, what a refreshing thing to read..unlike Harry who couldn't commit himself to us when the England ' fiasco' was doing the rounds!

As long as there are more than 2 years on a contract - Levy has the balls !

I imagine AVB will definitely stay, Bale really depends on us getting champions league I think (which based on the past couple of results, the look of our run in, how tired some of our players are looking and the 'this is spurs, we're bound to f*ck it up' mentality that I have ingrained into me is starting to look worryingly difficult).
