They are a bunch of world class footballers. (some of them) put them in there best positions together and they will come good. do you really think when they have the ball at their feet they are thinking about tactics, and what the manager said to them before the game?? They need to play their own game and work out how their team mates play, then we will be rockin. Tactics are overated, formations are overated to a certain extent. Making the right decisions on the park is not in the hands of a manager.

Which is pretty much AWs philosophy at arsenal.

That article says Baldini's top 3 candidates are Yakin(doesnt speak english), Di Matteo(shocking at WBA) and Mancini.

Now if that was true, I would accept the resignation but I doubt any of that is true
Nice way to skate over his achievements at Chelsea. FA cup and CL winner.

As I said earlier the players admitted that they managed themselves when AVB left, also he got sacked for not being able coach or set his team up that made them strong at the back. West Brom were very good going forward but shocking at the back.

Also during the CL game against Napoli and couple of other matches John Terry was giving out instructions on the touchline whilst he was behind him. With Drogba coming out the team managed themselves as well as the fact that Di Matteo tactics(which I liked at WBA) were a million miles away from the ones chelsea used. Chelsea also used the tactics they used under Mourinho.

He needs to prove himself in the championship or a lower PL club, let alone one going for the top 4!

Sorry this a nonsense to suggest that Matteo had nothing to with Chelsea winning trophies. Please post the quotes from the Chelsea players stating they managed themselves. If players are that good at managing themselves why do they need a manager? You blame Matteo for failures and don't give any credit for successes. Totally unbalanced.

Watch 2 games of Basel vs Chelsea and Yakin plays with speedy wings (basically using Salah) behind defence.

Frankly I am not too thrilled with this type of football bec it is predictable. If I look at Man C played against Fullham, I think that is the type of football we need to maintain top 4 challenge.

Can TS deliver base on his youth development experience?

Check the article in tomorrow's Telegraph from Jason Burt:

What a mess we are in.

I don't believe that article. How would Burt know what was said between two people ? If Levy was offered Baldini's resignation and said no, I want to you find me a new Head Coach/Manager, neither of them would be telling anyone what went on in such a private meeting.

As much as we dont like to admit it, Clint was actually a key player for us last season and did very well. Scored key goals for us and probably would have scored more this season. THe thing about him is that he has a nose for the goal and is always in the box. Those are some characteristics we really could use right now.

Not the best player on the eye but he was effective, could do with his goals and physical presence in the squad now

IF he did offer to resign, it sounds like a duty - the manager failed, you brought me in to support the manager, therefore I failed you, oh powerful Emperor. I offer myself as a sacrifice.

Baldini might as well move on, he won't get umpteen chances to get the coach appointment right like Levy as.

Spurs U21's and U18's never played 442 ever!

Another good article with no research done, it would have taken 5 mins to google the spurs u21 and u18s to find out we never play 442. Lazy journalists again Im surprised how any of these guys keep their jobs, when they just blatantly make shit up

I do not ever want to see Danny Rose cut inside and 'let fly' from 35 yards with his right foot ever again.
That is partially why I am concerned by some of what i am reading recently from the players and Sherwood.

I thought we took a lot less shots from long range against west ham. One of the most frustrating things of while AVB was in charge, shooting from 35 yards when we had good passing options

I think there is a lot more the the whole situation...

...has Levy acted incorrectly again. Most likely but undermining the manager

...did AVB deserve the boot? Yes absolutely in my opinion...unacceptable results, clueless dull football on the pitch, not picking the right players and sticking to a shit formation and tactic.

...is Baldini in the wrong? Who knows as we dont know what he does except helped us sign players that should be top players for us, esp Lamela and Eriksen...these are good players that AVB didnt want because he wanted Hulk, Villa and Moutinho...

Whoever the manager we need to get behind Sherwood because Levy aint going to look anywhere else.

So when we were chasing the title Levy wouldn't give Harry a new striker and instead gave him Nelson and Saha.

He then gives Baldini, who's not yet a part of the fabric of our club 100Million to spend on players.

AVB wanted 30 million Soldado but has since left. Baldini wanted 30 million pound Lamela but might leave.

This doesn't make footballing or business sense. What a shit show!!!! An absolute fucking expensive catastrophe of a mess.

And Mussolini, who I believe was strung up by his heels I believe.

Just
Nothing in it

Italians are men of honour (bar Burlesconi), believe in falling on their sword if they fail, and Baldini probably thought he failed as AVB went so offered to fall on his sword

Its over a decade since George Graham left yet underneath the veneer it's apparent that Spurs are Joe Lewis's bunga-bunga party .
