I can only assume Dawson has some incriminating pics of AVB that he has threatened to make public if he is dropped.

The question is just how juicy are these pics ?

Or we have no left back so Jan is covering there & as Kaboul showed at city he still isn't fully recovered from his injury?
I love daws and even I have to admit he is due a spell out of the side, however while we have no viable replacements I am not sure what avb can do.
I am afraid all of our concerns on deadline day when the Madrid left back or baines etc didn't arrive have proven correct.

Capoue, Walker with Naughton brought in at RB, Velkovic
With the exception of Capoue those are all very risky especially to suggest the Velkovic is better than Dawson, even though I think Dawson is getting passed it.. Even Capoue is risky with his lack of match fitness

No left back! Vlad and Jan I think will be great. Both very good on the ball and will help push the midfield further up the pitch. But with no Rose and a half fit Kaboul then Daws has to play.

AVB picks Dawson because......Rose in injured, Fryers is injured, Kaboul can't do 90 minutes, we sold Bale and we can't recall BAE

I'm not saying for a second that dawson isn't due a spell out of the side after recent performances but paulinho's lightweight attempt at a challenge made dawson's pass look even worse than it was. Similar to his involvement in newcastle's winning goal, moussa's pass to him was poor but he needs to be much much quicker and stronger in the challenge.

No real clue but I'd be interested to know if him not having the captain's arm band would make a difference. Pretty embarrassing for player and manager to drop your captain.

None of the alternatives are risky when the alternative is Dawson and the opposition increasingly target him as a weak link.

Lol blame Dawson all you want, our football ATM is dire and it's nothing to do with Dawson.

Lol the opposition target our style of play biglad. You make it sound like we were solid and convincing all round apart from Daws. We really weren't.

Surely I can't be the only one to see the irony in Donki defending Dawson :)

Ha I'm not saying he isn't technically retarded, I like Daws but ATM we are pretty shit. I was one saying give it time, give it time. Were at Christmas nearly and I'm starting to waver, il always back the team but with the team we have we should be playing much better football.
