Honestly I'm glad Dawson is going to be suspended and I'm glad Paulinho got sent off. We would have lost anyway, at least this way we're forced to play without either. The downside is that we don't have cover at the moment.
So Ryan Fredericks and Erik Lamela as our central defence pairing against West Ham then? Capoue surely has to play in front of the defence now that all our other defensive midfielders are crocked
I find myself in the strange position of supporting AVB playing Dawson when I was one of the few who agreed with him when he tried to ship him out at the begining of last season simply because I thought he didn't fit the way we were going to play. If we didn't have him we'd be lumbered at the back now though.

I'm hoping that players will be back now. What's going on with Kaboul and Rose?

We have an U21 team, play the defenders from there, if they can run at a greater than a snails pace they will be an upgrade on Dawson. If they have also been trained not to try 70 yard cross field lumps up the pitch so much the better.

so you agree he doesn't suit our style. As it happens I agree with you, I always prefer to play people in their correct positions, I don't know much about our under 21's though. Zeki Fryers is my example, he's a left back so play him there, I know the school of thought that says he"s a centre back if so play him there, we had both those spots covered by out of position players.

Earlier in this thread I suggested Walker and Velkjovic at CH and people laughed, look at the proposed team vs Wet Spam thread and that combo looks pretty popular.

More than anything AVB's animus with BAE looks criminal now.

The ONLY positive from yesterday was that Dawson has got himself suspended.

Seriously, did the Dawson defenders watch him yesterday ? He's absolutely woeful and his mistakes cripple us over and over again. Total liability that should be shipped out ASAP. Garbage.

Some of the youth team could be better than Daws. A blind ostrich with one leg would be in with a chance too.

Poor Andre, he had Dawsons number the very first moment he saw him in training and desperately tried to flog him to anyone. Appalling average defender who has no awareness, skill on the ball, pace or intelligence. And is useless against strikers other than andy Carroll types

But then fair play to Dawson also for obviously working very hard in training and seemingly appealing to andres desire to have hard working professional players

We're not Dawson defenders. We're Spurs supporters.
