Don't really get the hatred for Sherwood on here. Seems to have been painted as some sort of Machiavellian villain lurking in the shadows, and stabbing people in the back. In truth most people don't know much about him. The little I've seen or heard from him he usually comes across pretty well.

Also who cares if he's really as snide and as nasty as some are painting him out to be. To be brutally honest, a sad reality of the modern world is that those types of people can often be the most successful. Who knows...maybe we need someone in charge who's a bit of a **** to instil a winning and ruthless attitude in the team.

So there's a 'no to sherwood' bandwagon going on here but can someone actually tell us why? Is there a foundation for this or does someone on here just not like him and now everyone's following suit?

No managerial experience what so ever, maybe the question should be, Why Sherwood as opposed to why not??

Breezer i had info from biatch on Laudrup as well. But i know if he is what levy will want tbh.
On Capello thou he could be there for other reasons! Or maybe to help a mate look for something new.........
Careful mate Sun D*** might say you're making it up as well.

Hmm, undecided about Laudrup. After a very good 12/13 season the Swans have been quite poor so far this season and i really thought they where going to step up but its been Pochettino's Southampton thats been impressing me a lot more.

I think the smartest thing he did in his 1st season was basically not tinkering with Rogers' team, and adding a couple of astute signings from Spain - Michu in particular. This season though, there has been no real move to his own style.

Are you suggesting we are thinking of getting a Russian player and Capello was giving Baldini the lowdown on said player?

Has anyone checked Hoddle's tea leaves to see if it is a good thing for him to come back as manager? To be fair, our strikers could use some divine guidance to show them the back of the net.

Hiddink or de Boer please. It may be me dreaming, but one of those two would be wonderful. The more I read of de Boer the more I want him.

Slightly feel for AVB though, half our back four was missing yesterday and now Daws is suspended for Wednesday. Injuries haven't helped his cause defensively. Until City we had one of the best defenses in the league. We have the players, they're just not performing to the level they're capable of.

I think it's a hasty decision to get rid of AVB, although my confidence was wobbling a bit after recent events, I think he should have been allowed this season to get those signings singing off the same sheet, but understand that with the fans turning on him, the football still not clicking and some odd, stubborn and in some cases ludicrous decisions why he has been let go.

But here's the thing, the most important thing, and that is that we don't tear up what we have been working towards as a club. We should be recruiting someone who fits the philosophy, who will look to get us playing as I think AVB wanted too, but ultimately didn't. A DOF system and club philosophy lives on continuity so that's why I'm worried about rumours of Hoddle and Capello, they won't fit.
