Funny that. Answer is still Townsend by a good distance imo. Younger with so much upside. Lennon is what he is. He isn't going to get markedly better. His value isn't going to increase. Andros will get better and his value may increase immensely.

Andros has the potential to string end product with everything Azza does. I would be willing to take the chance. We don't have to though.

To many fans take Lennon for granted. Still only 26 isn't this the time when players start to reach the prime of their careers.

You say that but 4 weeks ago it would of been andros and at the beginning of the season it would of been Lamela

I think if Sherwood gets Townsend playing like he did for England or like he did in the chelsea match then its townsend for me.

I also think Lamela has shown glimpses that he can do every thing lennon does on the right and if brings all together than he wins for me.

Not for me it wouldn't.

And why's Lamela being brought into this? I know the kid has the most footballing intelligence out of the three but we're yet to see it bar a few glimpses. Not his fault mind, he should have had more consecutive game time that's for sure.

I do think Sherwood will get more out of Townsend though.

Lennon is still much better off the ball than Townsend. Townsend has better technique and is a better dribbler, but Lennon creates danger because he makes the runs in behind whilst Townsend is often running at people from deep, and then will shoot or look to pass. Townsend needs to make those runs in behind defences, because that's where his pace can be put to great use, and that's where goals will come from.

Currently Lennon is the better player, but Townsend has the better upside IMO.

According to wikipedia one is a Palestinian refugee camp and the other is an island in the Bahama's. I'll take the later

Spent 6 months there. Beautiful place. You've made the right choice.

Lamela is being brought in to this since they play the same position, we have 3 players all gunning for one position

I'm going by the question posed by the OP. Although Townsend will probably play from the left under Sherwood by the way, not as inverted winger as he did more under AVB.

In my opinion it is important that one or other play to provide that natural width and by that i mean Townsend on the left please. if they both play great but i like the idea of a Lennon/Eriksen or Townsend/Lamela wing partnership with one out and out wide player and one floating and providing a bit more guile. if occasion dictates a Lennon Townsend would work nicely with pace and lots of width but i wouldn't be a huge fan of an inverted winger pairing of Lamela and Eriksen, both quality players but inverted wingers are wank on both flanks unless you are genuinely world class like Bale, Messi etc.

I'm just happy we have good options.
Lennon for sure is underrated, Townsend has great talent and will develop more I see Townsend as being more flexible playing either side...both offer a directness pace which are good weapons.

Lamela has world class credentials if he can adapt n work hard his use of the ball is brilliant already.

Lamela has more footballing brain than the both of them.... Combined. Just need to adapt and play without fear

Perhaps, but take Lennon out of the team, and who is making the runs in behind defences? Lamela rarely does it, Soldado doesn't have the pace, Adebayor is another player who runs in from deep, Townsend too. Lennon technically is perhaps not as good as either player, but Tottenham are a better team with Lennon in it, no question - he is so important to our team balance.

If we remove Lennon from the team, then I think we'll find that we end up taking a lot of shots from outside the box again...

As far as i'm concerned you might as well ask 'If you could only keep one, Lloris or Sandro, who would it be?'

Townsend and Lennon, one is a left winger who can fill in on the right and the other a right winger who can fill in on the left.
