he'll be a good team player for years to come, maybe even a spurs first team player

Never gonna make the grade - get rid

Based on 1-2 bad performances, one being Arsenal, one of the best attacking teams, in the league, sod it, the world even, the other being Watford, even the best have bad games, cut him some slack, hope he gets a chance under JR.

I really have not seen enough of him, but not to impressed with what I have seen. But he should be given time. Crikey is that the time I must dash, see some of you at the game. Won't know what you look like or where you will be sitting but never mind. C.O.Y.S.

I'd like to see him given a chance with the squad once he is fit and if he gets his chance and impresses keep him.

Foreign players can take time to adapt although if we (please please) get a good left winger in the summer methinks Bale will be shoe-in for left back so could be difficult for him.

The pressure is on, he wasn't great before his injury and I don't think we can't hang around to long to see if he is going to develop.

Remember he may not even get 100 percent fit from his injury - well, that was according to ITK's.
He's got plenty of skills but, as a few on here, not sure if he's got what is needed to cut in the EPL.
However, remember how both Vidic and Evra struggled in their initial season at ManU - both were far away from a regular spot in the starting XI. Rest is history.

I think Juande will want to see him in action before deciding if he's good enough. Like most have said he is a bit lightweight but deserves a chance next season.

Still think he will have a tough time getting in ahead of Bale next season. Assuming that Juande sees Bale as a Left Back.

On the basis that he hasn't played for us since God was a lad, I can quite see him staying.

I like the idea of Benny da Frog & Bale on the same wing - with Benny as the FB tho' - and the possibility of some decent crosses from that (currently) unused part of the pitch.

However, Snr Ramos, I am sure, will have a better idea than any of us........

He looks ok but not a top team player IMO, was ok back up but we have to be looking at better players than him now

I really hope to see BAE back in action. He is a good player, but we have not seen the best of him yet. Hopefully he will get back into top form next season - if Ramos can wait for him...? That is the question. I am sure about his abilities, but maybe his injury problems will set him back......?

He looks quite a useful player at least a good squad member. i cant see the point of selling him now as a) we wont get any money for him and b) we will sell lee as juande doesnt rate him.

For the left side we will have a squad of bale, gilberto, bae, the new player. With steed able to cover if injuries hit

I thought in general he had all the attributes of a good lb.

I remember when Evra first joined United & he looked well off the pace with the Prem, this appears to be BAE's only problem and the sooner he adjusts to the faster pace of the game and improves his reading of it, then I'm sure he will become effective.

Somebody said the other day that O'Hara has a sweet left foot, I laughed a lot, it's simply not true...BAE however, does and he doesn't shy away from a tackle.

Needs to adapt to the pace of our game. Lets his opposite man get their cross in far too easily.

I would like to see him be given another chance.

From what I have heard, the manager might never have to make that decision.

I was about to say the same about giving the guy a chance, but maybe there are some long term worries on his fitness. After all he has been MIA since around Feb 07 so must be serious.

from the moment I knew he was only in football because his brother told him he could be riuch says it all about his mentality. From that moment I just knew he would pick up a long term injury whiclst picking up 20 grand a week for his troubles

Its all rubbish that statement and its a blatant slur. Nobody can make it this far in football without having a love for the game (not even Chimbonda), I'm 100% sure that if Benoit Assou-Ekotto wasn't getting paid to play football he'd still be playing for his local club, pub team or with mates.

People go on about Analka and his brothers and conveniently picture Assou-Ekotto, probably because there from the same back ground- but nobody can say both players don't love the game.

If you really want to label players that only play for money then look no further than most Brazilian players and sadly many English player IE Sidwell, Owen, Lampard.
