I rate him and thought he was excellent last night, Walcott always had to try something audacious to get by him/get his shot away. I was impressed.

Shame he wants to go, you can understand it though, never really a regular, fans don't like him etc...

Think he's a decent player but if he wants to go and Harry could get a hold of Bridge instead, I'd be delighted. Bridge is wasted at Chelsea and would really solidify our defence/left side.

BAE is, and always has been, a pretty useful LB. It can't be easy playing in a team that has underperformed for the last few seasons....and I expect BAE, along with most of the other fringe players, to 'shine' on a more regular basis...but this is THFC and anything can happen lol!
Liverpool will be another game to gauge where we are in EPL terms. I am confident of another TOP 4 showing....and a bad return for Mr Keane (I have it on good authority that Keano is hoping to MISS a WHL showdown....)! COYS!

he stepped in and intercepted a lot of ball last night.

Awful timing for this to come out! Too much to think he may have been misquoted perhaps?

soft tackling? I certainly wouldn't say that about BAE. he tackles harder than all the LB we've had in the past 4 years.

Nice attempt to make Bale sound african.
You're forgetting we have Gilberto, our 3rd left back. We dont need Taiwo because:
1) We have enough left backs
2) He's shit.

I have to admit that I actually forgot Gilberto for a moment (guess I was a bit tired:) )

I know Taiwo is suited for Premier League, and I know what a good asset he would be to our team. That is why I want him.

What do you say when he also leaves to one of our rivals? Let's pick him up before they take him, mate!

We have seen enough of that during the years - Evra, Sagna, Adebayor, Diaby to name a few.....

Enough is enough - Let's sign him before others do - He is quality - NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!

BAE had a top game against the goons. FFS open your eyes! Preconceptions are always right!

He had a good game against bolton too, his best 2 appearances both this week.

He's a squillion times better than bale at this stage!!!!!!

Agree too. He had to be good to keep that walcott quiet.
Some fans just do not appreciate some players and have an over critical spirit!
BAE is good and with a good run in the side will improve even more. He is also developping his going forward and crosses and needs to develop his passing, otherwise, given time he is pure quality and needs to stay here.

Always thought that Ekotto had the ability to be a good player, he just needs to a run of games in a settled back four to prove it.

Disco Benny looked great in the preseason games but as soon as the season started he looked all at sea - i don't think it's him, i think he's just one of them players who needs quality around him to make him up his game. If there's one thing i would've accused him of more than anything else before the Woolwich game it was complacency and laziness but, against Bolton too, he's looked more relaxed and it's really paying off.

Disco Benoit is doin't it for moi (just wish he'd scrape out them cornrows and go back to the groovy lightning-fro  )
