I'm the first to admit, I've not been able to follow all the transfer rumours and ITK so far this window as much as I'd have liked, so I may have overlooked something here. If that's the case I trust I'll be corrected.

Now, from what I can gather, Harry has said he needs to make three signings of top quality players so he has the squad he wants. Fair enough, seems reasonable to me.

I've also heard that he's going to have to raise some of the funds by selling. Again, fair enough.

The thing that concerns me, is that it looks as though we're willing/actively seeking to let 6 or 7 first-teamers leave, while replacing them with just 3 quality players?

I'm just a little concerned that our squad will be weaker overall in terms of manpower if we let a large number of players leave and only bring in three replacements. Of course, the other option is to bring in several replacements, but then we're back at square one in terms of trying to achieve some kind of stability within the club.

Anyone else share these concerns? Can someone please point out what obvious factors I may have overlooked? :beer:

Just because a few of our players are liked with other clubs doesn't mean they will all be sold. Harry will listen to offers for maybe 7 players from the first team squad but may only have to accept 3 in order to get the finances he needs.

I think that Harry has got money to spend it's just that Levy wants to cut down the wages or at least have them ballanced against turnover.
