Hopefully it was precautionary, as hamstring injuries at our club mean your seasons over (we need a better medical staff)

It didn't look too bad but you never know with those kind of injuries. It could be a week, a month or even longer.

Wont be longer than 4 weeks...looked like a grade 1 or a mild grade 2...probably misses next week but might be back the week after...

The pitch looked a little slippery, I think he just over extended his foot when he stepped, straining his hammy

It wasn't a tear he was still walking on it and the physio was stretching it when he came on, looked like a strain at most which means approx 2 weeks out I'd say. He could probably have done with a rest anyway but shame he will probably miss Everton away now.

Other players will simply have to step up, its that simple... play Sigs or give Falque a go, that's how Bale got his break due to injury...

I think the way they were stretching Bale's hammy on the pitch after it happened suggests it wasn't overly bad. Hopefully he'll only miss Everton away, at absolute worst.

Yea, give Gylfi a couple of games straight to see what he's got, that run and assist was fabulous. Maybe a run of games can shows us why we bought him.

poor Dawson, it seems he had finally won AVB over and he goes and gets a serious injury.

I have a feeling Dempsey will play his best football on the left side of the front 3 (like with Fulham last season).

------------------Defoe
Dempsey--- Ade (H) / Sig (A) - - - Lennon

Still a strong enough attack to bring home at least 10 points out of our 5 December fixtures IMO.

The return of BAE will also help strengthen the Left side, and hopefully Sig will get some time behind Ade over the next few fixtures, but the striker conundrum is surely a much welcomed one.

Might be a blessing in disguise.

Not for Bale obviously we'll miss him, but I can't wait for Sig to finally get a run in the team and find his form.

The kind of run Dempsey has been awarded and he's finally turning things around.
