Vidic would be happy with the protection his midfield would give him!?!? jeeez that side would be terrible defensively.

As a classy footballer but a defender first and foremost i'm yet again astonished and sadened by the lack of credit given to the skill of defending. Ekotto. Pepe. carrick. kedheira to name but three that should be in and around that team. Even modric over Ozil would give that side a bit more steel.

The amount of credit Vidic gets makes my blood boil. Because he plays for Ushited he has got away with half a dozen utterly blatant penalties/and or sending offs this season

If he hadn't committed those fouls he'd have been responsible for a number of (extra) crucial goals conceded or if given would have been banned from more matches and wouldn't have looked half as consistent. They might have even lost the title
