I Hope so, I really do, but this is a very bad situation for us, First Woody, then Modric, now King for 6 weeks, and Bassong may, or may not be back - the wheels are well and truly coming off the wagon I am afraid - but who will we play On Wednesday, Corluka and Hudd.............:eek:mg:

I am not sure that i would risk him for the CC match. He took a pretty nasty bang to the head and so personally I would give him a couple of days to recover especially as King maybe out for a while.

great news on the OS regarding bassong! as i understood it, it says that he was just knocked out and there was no major damage.

Him and corluka are a bit dodgy together but we have some winnable games coming up where we are expected to dominate and so we shouldnt be troubled much defensively if we keep possession. Dawson and bassong would be nice and would also give us that no-nonsense slow with ball-playing fast CB pairing

yes I would rather see Dawson and Bassong in the middle and Corluka and BAE - that looks a lot better than Hutton at RB and Corluka in the middle - Good news mate! Give Daws a game at Preston to get him match fit, please God do not get injured, but I feel we will have to risk him, going in cold for a EPL gave is not good!

the best thing about this was the nonchalance of our number 1 refereee to the whole issue of a guy laid flat out face down on the floor not moving, was too interested in arguing where a free kick should be from..wanker

Thats great news

Tottenham have received a welcome boost with the news that Sebastien Bassong is free from injury.
The Cameroon international was forced out of Spurs' meeting with capital rivals Chelsea on Sunday after tangling with Blues striker Nicolas Anelka.
He left the Stamford Bridge playing surface in a neck brace amid fears that he may have suffered a serious knock.
However, despite suffering a concussion after taking a heavy fall, medical tests have shown that Bassong

has suffered no serious damage.
Spurs are, however, still awaiting news on club captain Ledley King,

who was also unable to last the 90 minutes against Chelsea after tweaking a hamstring.
"Sebastien Bassong was back at Spurs Lodge today (Monday) for further assessment after being given the all-clear by a head and neck consultant at a hospital on Sunday evening," read a statement released on the club's official website.
"The Cameroon international centre-half was stretchered off after suffering a head injury in the second half of our fixture against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
"Ledley King will undergo a scan on his right hamstring after also being forced off with injury early on in the second half yesterday afternoon."
Harry Redknapp

will be hoping for further good news on King, as his defensive options have already been severely hampered by blows to Michael Dawson

and Jonathan Woodgate.

I remember Teemu Tainio being out for weeks, and Dawson was out for a couple too.
Yes, nothing on the Spurs site says he is fit to play on Wednesday or next week - Can anyone get ITK on him and Dawson...........please:bowdown: The thoghts of A; Corluka and Hudd being our "main" CB paring, and B; Hutton getting another game at RB are killing me - please tell me it ain't so, someone, anyone...................

I hope he and Dawson are fit to partner each other. I've thought ever since we signed seb that he and michael could be King and Woodgate v2.0.

SSN just reported that Bassong picked up a knee injury at the same time against Chelsea... Not known how serious, though...
