Howedes is on 35k Pounds a week for Schalke, am sure we can easily double it. I think the problem could be
i) Other money bag clubs interested in him
ii) Their chairman, who I guess was pissed off by Levy with Holtby transfer
Whyd chairman be pissed? He got some money for him

How good is Volland?

I really like him. He's one of those classic foreign players who you don't seem to get many of in England, who is small with a really low centre of gravity so he can weave between players easily. He's quite explosive in his style of play, and still very young. His buy out clause is an absolute steal

He didn't like the way Levy unsettling Holtby knowing he is free in summer. I remember their chairman saying something to that effect during his transfer
If it's a release clause, it doesn't matter if Levy and Baldini spit-roasted their chairman's wife. Once we bid he doesn't really have any say.

I think you are remembering it wrong, Holtby announced he was leaving on a free at least 1 year before his contract expired.

Hoewedes is very loyal. He's renewed once already when he could've left before. He wouldn't do anything to anger Schalke fans or to a less extent Schalke management. He ain't Lallana or Lovren, which makes him more attractive.

The buyout clause is 15 million Euros, so there is no necessity for negotiation. Check out this list of buyout in BL. There are some juicy names in there.

Fuck me. I'll take one Heung-Min Son, one Karim Ballarabi, one Lars Bender, one Gonzalo Castro and one Benedikt Howedes please.

Want want want. A great leader, utility man (Can play CB, LB and RB) Is an established international World Cup Winner, and would be a popular figure I feel as he is a passionate footballer who is a born defender...

The exact reason we will fuck this up...

Wow! A born defender?!! When was the last time we had one of those?

There is talk of Atletico bidding 25m euros for Xhaka last week, and it possibly not being enough. It wouldn't make much sense for them to need to bid above a buy-out clause. This list is likely outdated (Xhaka extended his contract 2 months ago).

Granit Xhaka has a limited fee release clause between €25-30 million in his new contract, which explains the listed value and the news speculation. So he's not exactly free for all.

Karim Bellarabi extended his contract with the new release clause only a little over a month ago, which is already reflected in the list.

The list is quite current.
