I just want to show my appreciation for our Benni, he is easily the most likeable player at the club by fans and players alike. Has massively improved in all areas and looks to be getting better and showing more passion and commitment as well. And this no love for the game!! Come on he is loving it now with spurs and that is fantastic for us, very good defender and very good going forward..

I am struggling to name a left full back who is as good as BAE at this moment in time.

He is great technically, ball retention is top draw and his confidence level is on an all time high. He needs to be loved and appreciated. Redknapp has to take credit for this, as he's always kept faith, especially when the so called MOTD sofa wankers, sorry experts (Hansen) said he's a massive liability.

I won't be surprised if the so called bigger clubs come sniffing in the summer.

Always loved him, yesterday he was immense. Great position for the first goal and loved the little flick up and header back to Friedel:grin:

I would say he is the best left back in the league by a mile, Baines is good but I would say Ekotto is better.

I do love Benny but let's not get too carried away. I wouldn't say he's miles ahead as the best left back in the league because Cole, Evra and Baines are top players but certainly he's one of the best. I Love his attitude towards the game and I love the eccentricity. I suppose my main criticism of him would be that he tries the cut-in too often and often loses it in dangerous places. But he's certainly a brilliant left back and a great character.

Did anyone see that outrageous bit of skill/luck when he missed the ball with his head but got it with the back of his foot? Looked awesome from where I was but probably didn't mean it. Anyone got a clip?

Evra hasnt been great the last 18 months, loads of my United mates have been moaning about him. But he is a great left back, same as cole.

I've been raving about Benni for ages, such a character

Yeah, he went for the diving header near the touchline, completely missed it and then it caught his heel - I'd like to think he knew what he was doing! Great seeing him that advanced up the pitch to get his goal.
