Anyone heard how serious it is? How long will he be out for? Can't find anything on BBC/Sky Sports.

Only thing I can find is a little quote from Harry saying he thinks he tore his hamstring.

Anyone know anymore?

Could it actually be a bit of a blessing? Could set up like this for the run in.

Charlie Daws Gallas Bale

Lennon Hudd Sandro Modric

VDV/Pav/Crouch/Defoe;

Or else

Charlie Daws Gallas Bale

VDV Modric Hudd Lennon

Pav AN.other

Would Lennon and Bale work on the left?

Harry'll play two up front until the end of the season. Plus VDV. Why die wondering?

So Azza will be an impact player from the bench unless we get a couple of injuries.

Bar the 2nd leg, has Lennon started a game since he put the record straight on Twitter?

I think we'll lineup like this for the run in, well for the away games anyway.

Gomes
Kaboul Gallas Dawson Bale
Lennon Sandro Hudd Modric
VDV
Crouch

if benny has torn the hamstring we would be lucky to see him again this season

I thought bale was absolute cack at LB against WBA, I'm pretty worried about Disco benny being out.

It's such a waste to have Bale playing there

He was lazy getting back into position too, a couple of times Dawson ended up covering for him with Hudd/Sandro dropping back to CB.

Mate did you watch yesterdays game? Bale/Lennon = Johnson/Lennon

Bale and Luka worked for me in the first half so if BAE is out, then that can continue for me. As for the rest of it, we need to go back to basics, VDV/Pav or VDV/Crouch. Lennon/Hudd/Sandro/Modric midfield.

Observer report said torn hamstring, although that was possibly off the back of anything Harry may have said...

I think I'd rather see Bassong played there rather than Bale, even if that means we have a back four consisting of four centrebacks... We need to play Bale on the left wing and Lennon on the right wing, the last two games have shown how poorly organised and how poorly we play when we don't have natural width in the team...

No, I couldn't as I had to work.

Would it not be different though as Lennon would be cutting in creating space for Bale to run into.

I don't know anyway. Just a thought.

Most of the media are saying Bale was brilliant yesterday

I thought he was alright.

I thought Bale had a good game at LB. He has been crap on at LW for a while now and as Harry stated in his post match interview LB is where Bale will eventually be the position he is regarded as the best in world in. He has more space to run on to the ball and deliver quality balls into the box. The last 10 or so appearances he has had at LW he gets very tightly marked or even double marked isn't skilled enough to make space for himself.

Sandro and Hudd together is a big no, did nobody see how deep we were? And Modric on the left so he can have little to no effect?

If Benny is out, by all means drop Bale to left back, but keep Modric central with Sandro and put Lennon on the left if VDV is now to go right to accommodate two forwards.
