Instead of looking to ship him out should'nt we look to shatter his confidence then rebuild him to be the type of player we know he can be?
There is no doubt he has some quality, it's just his work ethic and his dyer taste in indie rock music that let's him down.
So I propose that Harry cuts his holidays off and send him off to some type of boot camp similiar to what Hughes did at blackburn.

Would shatter his confidence to spell his name wrong in a thread about him.

Kinda difficult when the on fiiiiiire Lennon is ahead of him, playing all the games.

And even harder when we need to sell someone to get cash.

P.S:
Could you make a thread about Zakora and Jermain Jenas?

In an ideal world we would yes, the problem is we'd still have Aaron Lennon:)pray:) so he still wouldn't get in the team.

Who would you want the David *Bentley of last season coming off from the bench or the David Bentley from the season before last?

I know which one i'd want.

If thats the question the answer is obvious, the problem is you cant have £18m of talent on the bench in an area you are strong when the money could be better spent elsewhere.

Why not? This is what sets us apart from being a top club. We should have 18 m of talent on the bench if we have any ambition.

If we want to be breaking the top four, we need to emulate the top four.
We can generate funds from other players. Our midfield needs strength in depth, why weaken it?

I agree we should keep him because what happens if Lennon gets injured there is no way we are going to break the top four though.

It is a shame to have a player on the bench when you know he dose have quality to offer. its just to easy for the club to bomb him out and get £10 mill for the transfer kitty so if he's gose it add's up.

I personally want to keep him. like mullers says he would be more than adaquit cover.

I agree. Right wing is solid. Gawd knows he can't get any worse.

You never know, he may do a Vidic next season.

That's the thing though, our Midfield doesn't need strength in depth as we have that. We need strength in quality. And plus Bentley isn't worth £18 million. He's crap and over-rated, buh bye. :hello:
