We need Benzema like a fan of trepanation needs a hole in the head.
Needs, or wants?
They might WANT one, but technically they don't NEED one
Just wanted to clear that up

Benzema
But I also like Suarez
Either would be f*cking amazing, but I'm not holding my breath. January's always a tough time to buy
I think they're both cup tied for the CL though right?
I'll take either too. Both would be good. But we have got to improve on Defoe, Pav and Keane as our strikers. They are like three very lightweight stewed prunes caught in the vortex of a moulinex hairdryer with barely one brain cell between the lot of them.
My patience with all of them has run very, very thin.

Harry just been on talksport, they asked him if there's any truth in us being interested in Benzema, he didn't give anything away, just said he looks a great player but there's been no contact between the clubs bla bla bla, said that a few players will need to leave before he can bring anyone in - not because of money, purely because of the size of the squad and some players not getting a game.
What the hell's Defoe done wrong? Given your stance on Hudd, with respect I'm not sure I rate your opinion that highly
Thought Defoe provided some much needed pace and movement on Saturday
Defoe won a great header (the first of his career?), but tbh he barely touched the ball after that. He has no movement and his pace is only really over 2 yards. Defoe is definitely part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Your blinkered analysis betrays your prejudice. Defoe ran the channels very well in the second half. He constantly stretched Koscielny down the inside right channel, and the uncertainty it caused in their defence was once of the factors that enabled us to get into the game.
