Yep. Edman's goal v Liverpool was an absolute screamer from about 40 yards
Thank you thank you thank you.
Been driving me fkin nuts trying to remember his name.
Knew if I looked back someone might mention it.
I always think it weird that players just suddenly decide to shoot from that distance when they've no reason to and dont normally. I mean Edman hardly ever had a strike let alone from 40yds lol.
Like Eriksens last goal, was in much better positions in that game and never hit it. Gets 25yds out, fk it I'll have a crack. Think we'd score lot more goals if we'd just shoot when its on.
Anyway, Edmans goal was a peach.

Actually that's not even my favourite Carr goal at the Lane. He scored another against Sunderland where he took ball from inside our half, raced down the wing to the edge of the box and then impudently did an inch perfect chip over the keeper, who wasn't even that far off his line.

EDIT: Found a clip...

That is a thing of beauty.....

I've got some memory of Andy Sinton going on an amazing run and scoring against Sunderland.... I can't find a clip though - it's probably not as good as I remember

If you follow Spurs' official account on Facebook, they posted a video yesterday which, I believe, includes the goal you're talking about. They called it, "Enjoy four fine free-kicks at the Lane".
I don't use bookface as a rule, but I'll have a butchers, cheers!

Remember Willem Korsten getting two class goals at the Lane in 2001 we beat Man Utd 3-1.

I remember thinking Korsten was going to be second coming of Christ after this. Then he fucked his hip or something didn't he?

He would have been a class player if not for that Hip, just starting to show what he could do after a slow start at Spurs.

I used to watch him play for the reserves before he made the breakthrough into the first team he had such a good touch on a par with berbatov.

Opposition goal but I saw Rooney do this at WHL in a 2002 Youth Cup semi. Can't find a video.

Anyone remember Jenas 94th minute equaliser v Arse in a 2-2 draw? That was a screamer.

Love the one from Bale that Davies tries to recreate in this video.. couldn't find a clip of the Bale goal itself.

These two but especially the 2nd from Berbatov is magical
