Fucking incredible that we spent YEARS looking for a competent backup for Kane, finally fucking find one, and he can’t even get a game when Harry is injured.

I sincerely hope it won’t matter and we’ll find a way to win. But if the second half against Liverpool is any indication I’m expecting another dogshit performance. Jose’s tactics, to the extent that they can be said to entail any semblance of an attacking identity, are reliant on the No. 9 holding the ball up and bringing others into play.
So bale to score tonight then?

When I see Sanchez start under Mourinho, it reminds me that our archaic Manager singled him out in the Europa League final and pressured him all game because they didn't think he was good on the ball.

It pains me.

Sanchez will start at right-back and it's not the first time either. It happened once in the past. I don't remember who was the opponent but I remember myself hiding behind the sofa for 90 minutes.
It was in Europe.

At least he’s bombed Dier, as someone else said in another thread, other defenders have been dropped for far less.

Forgive me if I've missed some injury news but this would be a much better line-up:

Guys, I’ve got it! Can’t believe no one has thought of this before but hear me out... Let’s buy a backup striker but not actually play him when our main striker is injured ?

I think it must be an ex Chelsea thing.

Look at Rodgers. Vardy injured so I'll play Perez instead of Ihenacho :)

Jose dropped the right people today. Let’s hope it’s the rocket they need to pull their fingers out.

I gotta admit, I like that he dropped both rightbacks after Thursday. Just hope it has the right effect and doesn't backfire!

It will be a back 3 not sure who plays on the left, I'd assume Rodon.

Midfield 4 of Sissoko, Tanguy, PEH, Davies

Bale, Son, Bergwijn.

Before everyone cries at the selection, let's look at the facts.

Doherty dropped - everyone wanted this?
Dier dropped - nearly everyone wanted this?
Bale starts- everyone wanted this?

Aurier clearly being omitted due to the incident at half time.
Vinicius could have been brought it but that would have been at the expense of Bale.
We are not changing to 4231 as we are too weak at the back, so there was no option for Dele or playing both Bale and Vinicius.

Lovr Devine getting a spot on the bench.

COYS!
