I didn't see a thread on this guy anywhere else, so here goes.

Genuine question:

United want to buy Bruno Fernandes. Fernandes (allegedly) wants to join United.

Now, if both parties want to do a deal, why has it not already been done?

The asking price is (allegedly) only £60 million which isn't really a problem for a club like United, so I ask again why has the deal not yet been done and dusted?

Reports from SSN have suggested Sporting Lisbon representatives have been in London for discussions but that there is another Premier League club somehow involved in the mix....

Hmmm...

We all know BF is Portuguese and that Jose is friends with both the Sporting Club director and the chairman, and we also know that Mourinho is a much greater draw than OGS and of course, London always has the edge over Manchester.

I could be putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with an omelette, but it's intriguing. All will be revealed soon I feel. What do you guys reckon?

I reckon you should put this in his own extensive thread in the transfer rumours section of the board, rather than in Spurs Chat, but that is just me being pedantic I suppose
