Whilst I don't agree with his post you're the one trolling, he's expressing an opinion, you're name calling.

Whilst I don't agree with his post you're the one trolling, he's expressing an opinion, you're name calling. You've as much credibility as the labour government accusing anyone questioning imigration as being racist
Racist![/qu
Are you? You need help mate
A serious response to a light hearted/throw away remark.I reckon he works for the Samaritans.
Lets go and play in the other thread mate. I'm tired of carrying the can for talking about Levy in this thread.Do you want me to comment on all the above because I will if you want, but my views on all of those issues have been aired plenty. I don't agree with all of the appointments (sometimes the timing therein) or sackings, but understand the chairman's (of a football club in our position) logic in most. I'm not sure what your position is on all those issues, are you saying appointing all of those was wrong, or sacking them was wrong or both ?
For example, are you saying the replacing of Jol after 3 1/2 years of proving he was limited to getting a 5th best squad to 5th, not getting close to a trophy for a manager who's won European and domestic trophies in a comparable league whilst managing a DOF budgeted club was flawed logic ?
Because I don't.
None of us have a clue what the Damiao saga was about do we ?

The majority of people don't want Levy stuff in here so you should be respectful of that IMOI wouldn't let pissy whiners worry you Mullers. This is a thread about someone buying the club, discussing the merits of Levy's tenure is every bit as relevant as the other bullshit people have veered into such as the LA Dodgers baseball team and projected spending spree's of an outfit that haven't even stocked their stationary cupboard yet.
Apologies for how crude this sounds, but one thing I can't understand is why Lewis never heavily invested when he's so old and approaching death (to be blunt). Spurs are also the club he supports... If I was that filthy rich and that old id set aside money and investments to keep me and my family well looked after, liquidise everything else and then use that to make my club a footballing powerhouse. I'd understand wanting to remain rich while in your prime years to live every man's playboy lifestyle fantasy, but Joe Lewis is hardly Hugh Hefner?
There's only so much money one man needs, or am I looking at this very simplistically?
You realise that Spurs are just one small province of Lewis' Tavistock empire? Perhaps you don't, but you're hardly alone in that. Nor are you alone in failing to realise that Spurs are run as a business, not a vanity project.
Even if Lewis were to throw caution to the winds, if it came to a pissing contest between him, Abramovich and Sheikh Yerbooti, he'd lose. Nor would he be able to sustain a challenge against United and Arsenal's vastly greater income. It would be Jack Walker all over again—or rather, it wouldn't.

**Goes to find share certificate **
Then remembers its only for 1 share......
Jokes aside! It seems this could happen. I want to think we could improve with this! But Pompey will always stick in my head " The grass is always greener on the other side" and all that.
Edit- i posted this in the other thread as well by mistake lol
I'm not expert but I don't think that's right. I read 'offer period' to mean the period Cain Hoy have between declaring a potential interest and the date by which they must make an offer if they wish to do so - which I think is October 10.http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/rule-2.10-announcement-150914/

THe THFC announcement is rule 2.10 (page D15) which is about disclosure at the start of an Offer Period.
So I would assume that THFC are in receipt of an actual offfer.

I think we can put to bed the idea that this is a publicity stunt.
it is nothing until an offer is made. The statement made by the club today is a requirement in the investment code of conduct.I think we can put to bed the idea that this is a publicity stunt.
