Well since im moving oop north on friday i may go to my first game since 199christknows. This turns me from the ultimate plastic fan into one of the most dedicated and awesome in history.

Ill probably forget though and watch it on tv, spend the money on booze and silly hats

Only if you stay to the end and let everybody know:wink:

i agree with netty and matty. we'll take a good crowd to these games and we'll give good support. i'm going to bolton and PNE.

the midweek games at hull and doncaster had a good crowd, numerous and loud, considering the distance from londod and the midweek time.

really wed night in preston, how many clubs would sell that out?

legend10: For the record I usually arrive a few minutes late so i can have the last pint in the Bill Nick, nip down with a minute or 2 to half time to get in a beer and then usually leave before the end to get to the pub. And I won't be going to Preston, therefore I don't class myself as a fan at all.--------------------------------------
mate casting no aspersions on your fan status, it sounds like you're an alcoholic

Both Preston and Bolton are rarely associated with areas of natural beauty. They would definately get in to the top 10 shit holes towns of the UK.

I don't think that too many of our fans living in the delights of "Shires", really relish trips, particularly week nights to towns of such deprevation.

The last time I set foot in preston, I apologised to the soles of my shoes.

Preston's a city and if you'd been to the reebok you would probably know its actually in quite a rural area, middlebrook shopping area aside. Furthermore if its natural beauty your looking for why would anyone ever go to london? Tottenham and alot of north london are up their with the most rundown, crime-ridden parts of the country. Even salfords nicer for christ sake!

Oh yer i have tickets for both, woo! :hump:

When I lived in Manchester I never had any problem turning up on the night to away league cup games and getting in. There are a lot of fans up there that will go to Preston and buy a ticket on the night.
Bolton like Blackburn you will get a ticket on the day. I also did this at Man City, and only Liverpool, and Man U are 100% sold out, plus some Everton games.

I live in Preston and that is exactly what I do. Never fail to get a ticket on the gate for those games

No that's not what I'm suggesting. I'm sure that quite a few people who stay to the end at every game are going to Preston, as I'm equally sure some who leave early will be going to Preston.

What I'm implying is that it's quite likely that the ones who claim to be disgusted by others and shout that they are the 'real fans' are ones who won't be going. I'm equally sure that there's plenty of stay to the end fans who go to every game that don't feel remotely disgusted by people leaving early.

 er? ok!

bolton never sell outs because they give us such a massive allocation. pretty sure we still bring more fans than the majority of clubs.

but i'd expect there to be limited tickets at the gates for both bolton and preston. and as already mentioned, the same is common at blackburn and wigan.
