Conceding another goal? Nope. I'll not have that. Standards must be maintained.

Last night it was "experienced Spurs side steam-roll young Villians"

Tonight it is - "Arsenal young Guns get past West Brom".

Spurs average age last night - 23.6
Arsenal average age tonight - 26

From Hull's point of view this must be the worst possible draw for them. They can't play Livermore and the only way Sandro will give Huddlestone any time on the ball is if he plays behind their goalkeeper. As easy a path into the quarters as we could have hoped for.

City have a tough draw if the Barcodes decide to stop being shit as they do at random times throughout the season.

How'd you get that? Ours was 25.2 (23.6 not including Old Man Brad), theirs was 23.9 (23.5 for outfield players).

I know some people don't rate this competition but I'd love to win it again, I hope one of the benefits of having this great squad will be that we can keep putting out winning teams in the cups. I'm up for a sneeky domestic cup double.

Hull fans don't seem that keen or confident of an upset. From Hull City Mad forum

Away at Spurs twice in three days that should be interesting. We need the points more than the cup win so go all out on the Sunday and give the kids a chance to have some fun on the Wednesday.

If Proschwitz scores against Spurs reserves it will mean something. The Bale money (going on early season form) has given them a depth to their squad. Whatever team they put out will be strong.

I agree. We have a strong squad and proved against, an allbeit weakened, Villa side can beat teams comfortably and perform as a team rather than a group of misfits and outcasts.

I'd love to see us win a trophy again.
