Whats really annoying is they are now in the semis and yet we've still played more difficult games than them. 2 BD, 2 RM, 2 Juventus and they've played fkin Man City. What a joke.

More or less the same with City too. They crumble against a big team.

We got a group of death and a tough Juve game

The semi looked like a guaranteed giant for the winner of the City/Pool tie, but now Roma is sitting there. Klopp is good enough to get these guys to win a final over anyone.

Odds against of course but a good season for us will most definitely be spoilt by Liverpool winning the CL, arse the EL and Chelsea the fa cup...a dirty little cloud on the horizon that one

Virgil van Dijk's last 11 games for Liverpool:

8 wins, 6 clean sheets, 7 conceded.

Ferdinand: "Everything you'd want in a centre-half that cost that money."

He has a decent signing been for Liverpool, 75m looks like a bargain now.

Davinson Sanchez's last 11 games for Tottenham:

8 wins, 5 clean sheets, 8 conceded.

This run of 11 games featured games against Juventus (x2), Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.

He's 5 years younger and cost almost half as much as that "bargain"

Just saying :)

Only seen the highlights but Barcelona looked shell shocked from the early goal. Really didn't expect Roma to win by 3 goals and go through! If I had, I might have woken up for the game!

As for City, 2nd time in a matter of days they have lost their lead in the second half. Hopefully we can give them a beating too!

F**k 'em - we've done a lot better than most of us thought we would this season. We had a tough CL campaign and for the most part competed very well in it. I'm not counting our chickens on top 4 but we're in a good position and we've a chance of our first trophy in 10 years. We also showed that we can cope without Kane in the side, despite everyone, including myself getting very worried when he got injured. All good for me.

Objectively Liverpool have had the easiest way towards the semifinals of all the english teams. Kudos to them for beating City even though I feel as they rode their luck in that one. They are destined to draw Roma in the semifinals and in the final anything can happen. If Liverpool would win it I'd be devastated because it could have been us lifting that trophy. At the same time it would be a lift for english football which might benefit the whole PL.

I wouldn't call them favourites to win it through. Let's leave that to the RAWK dippers.

I can't see the ar*e beating Ath.Mad be it in the semis or the final. For me Bayern are favourites for the CL and we're going to win the F.A cup.

I posted last night that I thought Liverpool deserved to go through over the two legs. I stand by that, they did.

However...

Not going to be good for my health if i get hung up on the idea of Liverpool winning this outright.

Yes, I'm sure their fans will be winding us big time, but it won't take long until a few of their own players or fans revert back to doing something incredibly stupid and normality resumes. Namely they make themselves look like widgers.

Let's look at this past 3 Months, we've seen Carragher spitting over a young girl, and their fans smashing up a team coach with people on board.

So my point being, if they win it, somewhat a nuisance, quickly remedied by reminding myself how lucky I am not to be part of something so delusional, irresponsible, self righteous , uncouth and embarrassing as their undignified excuse of a club.

They can mock all they want...In fact I'd expect them to. Must be hard being part of all that is associated with that club...especially when you look at a club oozing class such as Spurs.

There...I can now watch the rest of the tournament without giving a flying barrel of Monkey spu*k who wins.

It's all what's, if's and but's, but I'd have loved to have seen what the Liverpool fans would be like now if that had been their goal to bring them back in to the tie at 2-3 which had been disallowed.

You could guarantee that would be the sole reason they're out.

It might be way too late for City to bottle the title, but out of the cup to Wigan, thrashed by Liverpool in Europe, and limping towards the league is hardly an ideal second half to the season for them and can't do their odds of defending it next year any favours.

How are they limping towards the league? Because they lost one game?

Liverpool won't win. But if they do I will appluad them. From here on in it's not easy! I really can't see them beating Bayern or RM.
