My mate is a PCSO down there but he had the night off and watched the game in the pub with me. He could have had a better time at work :)

"Suddenly about 50 of them just attacked the police car, they were trying to rip the lights off and get inside," the witness told Britain's Daily Mail.

Sounds like driving through one of those safari zoos and the car being attacked by a load of monkeys.

I love how the winning team has to stand and clap each side of the losing team as they walk up to get their losers medals. Often it genuinely is a sign of respect and the losers appreciate that. Last night it was clearly just patronising, and I think that hurt the Chelsea players even more.

Oh, and we're better than Man Utd because we beat Chelsea in a final this season without having to go to penalties. :)

So Ryan Giggs has lifted the Champions League cup for a second time.

He had a peek inside and there was a chocolate orange in it.

He said, "It's not Terry's, it's mine!"

TCO - You heard the 'Redknapp' gaff aswell?

My flat-mates and I were in stiches when Pleat got all excited and blurted that out.

How did that mug ever manage a Premiership club?

They were dark days for Spurs!

He was actually pretty good in his first stint, before he started perving it up.

I just found out the new girl here is a Chelsea fan and I did the same. I don't think she's that bothered though.

One witness in London claimed the trouble started after an unmarked police car collided with a supporter in a crowd of drunken supporters near Fulham Broadway Underground station.
"Suddenly about 50 of them just attacked the police car, they were trying to rip the lights off and get inside," the witness told Britain's Daily Mail.

do unmarked police cars have lights? the onnes police cars have, not normal head lights

I always thought they didn't, otherwise its a bit of a give away that its a police car.

Exactly.

In a bizarre way, I think the best thing about supporting Spurs is that we experience every aspect of being a sports fan; the highs, the lows and everything inbetween.

I've often thought that there are whole generations of kids who have only experienced Man Utd, Arse and Pool (and recently Chelsea) being at the top, and winning things.

They must go into the majority of games, mildly bored, expecting to win - surely that's not particularly exilerating.

As a Spurs fan I'm always a bit nervous before a match, even the ones we should win comfortably. As a result it's still a great feeling when we win, and when I'm celebrating with my mates in the pub on a Saturday night!
