do unmarked police cars have lights? the onnes police cars have, not normal head lights

I always thought they didn't, otherwise its a bit of a give away that its a police car.

In Cambridge we have a couple of unmarked cars with fuck off big lights on top... we've always wondered what the point is

I just found out the new girl here is a Chelsea fan and I did the same. I don't think she's that bothered though.

Well, in the oldern days didn't they just stick a removable light on top?

Nowadays they're built into the headlights and they have "invisible" lights on the back window.

If you go back to the days when football was much simpler, a more level playing field and wasn't the huge commercial business it is today, Bill Nicholson would figure as one of the best managers ever for pulling off the first Double of the 20th century, winning the first British European trophy and putting together the most incredibly well blended team, with few "stars" and a combination of players that very few could equal at that time.

He has to be in the top ten if not the top five.

Ferguson's probably the best manager ever, not just the best British manager.

I think it is impossible to decide who is the best manager ever simply because all the greats have worked under different conditions.

If Ferguson didn't have United's spending power and the ability to have a very large squad would he have been so successful?

Bill Nicholson, Bill Shankley, etc. weren't able to throw cash at players and didn't have large squads to work with. How many more players did Ferguson use this season than Bill Nick did when we did the double?

Spurs were known as "The chequebook team" in the sixties.

Always bought the best, then United came along and spent more than us.

I think Flatters has been watching too many reruns of The Sweeney and Police Squad. Unmarked cars usually have a light on top and often a badge on the side doors. A definite misnomer. Rather like John Terry being called a man.

Wow, fuck me, did you see how i brought that back on topic...god, I make this job look easy sometimes. :pointscoolfingersatyou:

I think I have heard we only used 11 players for the entire season

Fergy is an alright manager but......I can never place him up with Bill Nic or Shanks! They led the way, not only in Europe but also, in domestic competition. They had a special touch....something which Fergy has less of.
That said, Fergy is UP with the best British managers....but....not near the BEST Euro or world variety COYS!

My favourite quote of the game came from Tildesley during extra time, when the camera was on Roman Abramovich. "What do you get for the man who has everything? Money can't buy you this." I want to know what his explanation for Chelsea's meteoric rise to the pinnacle of European competition is then. Is it all down to Avram Grant's charisma? Twat.

Anyone else let out a big cheer when the commentator mentioned Spurs beating Chelsea at Wembley? :)

Looking at that picture, I could almost feel sorry for him, almost.

Who am I kidding, no I can't! He deserves to win nothing!
