People were saying he was tired all season when he didn't score - sometimes he'll just have a bad game you know.Watching Kane today it's obvious we need two strikers as he looks tired should be given a few weeks off at the beginning of the season
Your point is correct however at some stage he will need a break. He is young, has had two years at the top without a break and to get the best out of him long term we need to support him by not having him play 90 minutes of every game. He's going to have dips in form or injuries and we really need alternatives up front.People were saying he was tired all season when he didn't score - sometimes he'll just have a bad game you know.

Reports that West Ham now favorites to get him are strange considering the Euros have now started and you would expect Batshuayi would be totally focused on playing for Belgium

Maybe it's £15m plus another £15m or so in add-ons, but United are feeding "£15m" to the media. Remember Martial as well; we had a fee agreed around €25m iirc then he signs a new contract with Monaco and moves to United for €60m!Why is it, when we go after Embolo, he's quoted at £20-25m but Utd rumoured to be picking him up for £15m.
Werner was quoted at £15m ish if I remember correctly, yet has just moved for €10m.
Low and behold, OM are supposedly holding out for £30m ish, let's see how much he costs.
You pick the two biggest clubs in Germany, I'm talking about the average player. The wages in England are completely out of proportion, that's why you so rarely see players from England go abroad. Foreign teams simply aren't willing, and don't have the finances, to pay these massive wagesBundesliga? Do they hell.
All the recognised Dortmund, Wolfsburg, and Bayern Munich players are on £100-200k plus. Schalke, Leverkusen etc have players on circa £50-£100k.
Whereas with Marseille, despite being in financial turmoil they're still one of the bigger clubs in France and if it wasn't for their current crisis there's no way they would sell Batboy.
I'd rather Hodgson didn't play him 90 mins every game when Vardy Sturridge and Rashford can one on to me Kane should have come off after 70 minsPeople were saying he was tired all season when he didn't score - sometimes he'll just have a bad game you know.
He loves it. Fucking loves it. He finds it easy. Dealing with money for him is like a genius with degrees from the top 100 universities in the world, winner of 48 nobel prizes and a GCSE is drama from Peckham comprehensive doing the sun crossword.
Its entirely possible that he is. In so much as where the actual haggling and doing of the deal is concerned. Doubtless there are others involved in the mundane aspects once a deal is struck and naturally there are others involved in the selection of players but where the big bucks are concerned, its Levy (your dad) all the way baby

I named FIVE clubs.
Marseille aren't an average club, they're one of the biggest in France.
You're delusional if you think a player costing £30m and who's coming from a decent league isn't going to want competitive wages.
Wouldn't it make sense for people to stop arguing about fees, wages, the size of clubs, or saying this deal isn't going to happen, and just accept that there's a European Championships taking place, which gives players & their representatives an opportunity to drum up interest from clubs that may not have previously been interested in them?
I've got no idea if this is the reason that a deal for Batshuayi has yet to materialise, but, unlike many possible suitors for his signature, we have 3 key players who will be alongside him & in his ear for the duration of Belgium's participation in the tournament at which Batshuayi is currently involved.
I'd say we still have as good a chance as any club!
I think he wants to come but there's little chance we'll pay £31m for him, which will result in other clubs coming in and him most likely going elsewhere.
Subject to Boufal's injury we'd be able to sign both him and Janssen for roughly the fee Marseille want for Batboy.

I'm not so sure the fee will be as much of a sticking point as many are suggesting. It's already been pointed out that it's a figure that's pretty much on a par with what was agreed for Lamela, so why would it be so unrealistic this time round?
I'm sure the fee can be met, whether it's done via acceptable instalments, or performance/success related add-ons.
As for Boufal, I still wouldn't write that one off, either. It's not at all inconceivable that he could actually be fit again before the window closes on September 1st. Depending upon which source one chooses to believe, he could be fit anywhere between 2 & 6 months, with the 2 months only taking him into the middle of July.
