I'm not worried. Their manager has already said he's signing for us, as has Van der Sar who now works for Ajax. That is as ITK as it gets.

Word is that Chelsea rejected ajax's approach to take van ginkel on loan for the season. JM screwing with us again knowing that was thier Erikson replacement?
That sounds like twitter bollocks to me.

Ajax already have 3 in-house replacements for Eriksen in Fischer (he's a LW, and a damn good one at that, but has expressed interest in moving to CM to replace Eriksen before), Klaassen, and Serero. And they're about to purchase a 4th potential replacement; Lerin Duarte, whom is a highly rated CM that plays for Heracles. They're stacked at that position and aren't the types to take on a chelsea player on loan to help develop them/give them playing time and get in the way of development of their own players.

Where's VDS's quotes? Just interested in what he said.

A little off topic, but I went to VDS's testimonial at Ajax a couple years ago. Amazing day of football. :)

I want eriksen mainly because of his excellent set pieces. He has turned down other big clubs for the club that will suit his style. To ne it seems his style is behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1.

Issue is that number 10 position is such a huge position. Is he good enough?

This is my bad, but re-reading VDS's quotes, he does say "if" he moves to Tottenham he'll be a great success. De Boer has him signing for us, though, so I'll hang all my hopes on that. VDS did namecheck us which is a good sign, despite the "if".

IMO, not yet

But if we play 4-3-3, him (as left inside forward) and Paulinho (as most advanced CM) cover the position between them.
